The Lounge Kittens have released a brand new video, alongside details of their first official release. 'Just The Tip' will be released via their own Grweat Records label on April 8th.

Gearing up to hit the road for their biggest tour yet with STEEL PANTHER, The ‘Kittens have also released their own take on the headliners gross-out video ‘Gloryhole’ – check it out here:

Jen Kitten explains the thinking behind the 6 track mini-album:

“The demand from the fans for us to release an album has been overwhelming and we’re really excited to share our music with people in a completely new way via the release of our mini-album ‘Just the Tip…’. We thought long and hard about what songs to include on the EP as we wanted to show the true variety of our musical passions, genre tastes, naughtiness and vocal range. So we’re off on tour with Steel Panther on their ‘All You Can Eat’ tour and managing to keep a modicum of ladylike restraint by only giving you ‘Just The Tip’… yourself for another day, there’s plenty more to come from us!”

The full track listing is as follows:

1) Party Hard (Andrew WK cover) 2) Duality (Slipknot cover) 3) SeanAPaul Medley 4) Rollin (Limp Bizkit cover) 5) I Don't Want To Miss A Thing (Aerosmith cover) 6) Gloryhole (Steel Panther cover)

The Lounge Kittens first crossed the path of public consciousness one year ago when they unleashed their interpretation of Limp Bizkit's 'Rollin' via YouTube. Armed only with a piano and perfect three-part harmonies, the video quickly went viral, catching the attention of one Mr Fred Durst, who loved what he saw and heard. So much so that five months later, The Lounge Kittens were stood on the main stage of the SONISPHERE festival, jamming 'Rollin' with the rap metal legends themselves.

Subsequent interpretations - the word "cover" does not really do the Kittens's work justice - of Andrew WK and Slipknot have seen the trend of official originator endorsement continue, with Andrew WK describing the trio as "The partiest kittens in the world", and Slipknot's Corey Taylor proclaiming his love for their version of 'Duality'.

Appearances at festivals including the likes of SONISPHERE and GLASTONBURY saw packed tents and excitement over the summer of 2014, earning them enough fans to carry out their own headline tour in the winter. Now, just over a year since they first uploaded a video to YouTube in the hope of making a few people laugh, they prepare for a mammoth tour which will put them in front of tens of thousands of people, including a performance at the world renowned Wembley Arena.
