Dutch death metal newcomers, DICTATED, released their debut album, "The Deceived," in August of this year. Last month, guitarists Sonja Schuringa and Jessica Otten shot a guitar demonstration video to show fans just exactly how "The Basher" is played. THE KILLING LIGHTS DEBUTS NEW VIDEO FOR 'UNTIL I BLEED' ** Band’s Debut EP Out Now **

The Killing Lights have released their new video for 'Until I Bleed' online. Directed by Brad Golowin (Miss May I, Asking Alexandria) the performance-based clip wraps perfectly around the incendiary, very personal song.

"I remember waking up to doctors mumbling about a guardian angel on my shoulder,” TKL frontman Michael Vampire told Alternative Press about the song. “I couldn't speak. I had no teeth in my mouth and a breathing tube in my neck. I was almost another statistic thanks to a drunk driver. After years of recovery I wrote this song with my best friend and guitarist DJ Black. Thanks to the amazing Brad Golowin for directing this video!"

The Killing Lights released their highly-anticipated, self-titled debut EP on December 2nd. The 5-song release was produced & engineered by DJ Black & Michael Vampire, mixed by Erik Ron (Motionless In White, Escape The Fate) and mastered by Sterling Sound NYC. It is now available through the band’s online store on District Lines and at all major digital music retailers. Limited edition merchandise bundles are also available.

The band has been riding strong the past several months after the release of their debut single and video 'Lies Spread Like Fire' which was premiered by Revolver and has since been viewed over 200,000 times. The band plans to tour heavily in the new year in support of the EP with an eye on releasing a full-length album in 2015.

Ahead of the dates, we’re happy to announce their new single “New Beat” on January 19th! The guys will perform live on Conan on January 13th.

On the third in its series of self-titled albums, the band took a fresh approach. Not content to simply excel within the confines of the mariachi genre, they ditched the rulebook and dusted off old sequencers, synths and an ARP. The 10 striking songs that resulted fuse traditional melodies with modern ambience. The band recorded most of (III) at Haunted Hallow Studios in Charlottesville, Virginia, a surreal private countryside location with absolutely no cell phone reception, but plenty of strange sculptures and miles of woods in every direction.

Mariachi El Bronx – comprising Matt Caughthran, Joby J. Ford, Jorma Vik, Brad Magers, Ken Horne, Vincent Hidalgo, Ray Suen and Keith Douglas – spent two weeks there, recording with producer John Avila (Oingo Boingo), who co-produced (I) and (II) with the band. From the social commentary of tracks like “New Beat” to the reflective “Wildfires” and “High Tide,” (III) reveals a band coming into its own, extending the proverbial middle finger to tradition – and backing it up 100%. DJ Bonebrake (X) guests on marimbas on “Nothing’s Changed” and harp virtuoso Willie Acuña (Mariachi Sol de Mexico) joins the band on “Raise The Dead.” The album has received rave reviews across the board with Kerrang! saying "Mariachi El Bronx (III) is that rarest of things: an album that does not feature one bad song.”

Los Angeles, California - The highly controversial, Synthetic-Metal duo Chiildren have released their newest track entitled "O' Child" (produced by Michael Keene of The Faceless) from their upcoming EP "The Circle Narrows." The EP, which does not yet have an official release date, also features artwork from Steven Johnson Leyba.

In Times will be the title of the thirteenth studio album by Norwegian progressive extreme metallers ENSLAVED. Hand-painted artwork is by long-time collaborating artist and “sixth ENSLAVED member” Truls Espedal. The album will be released in the UK on the 9th March 2015. ENSLAVED guitarist & composer Ivar Bjørnson shares the following about the band’s latest creation: “I was so deep into the songs and ideas for such a long time (or have my head so far up my own a**, if you prefer more direct language) that it is hard to have any ‘opinions’ about them that is anything else than the high-flying mumbo-jumbo of the introvert song-smith. The songs are extensions of my inner and outer life, the thoughts I am aware of having, as well as those that lie too deep to register in everyday consciousness. The songs are the resounds of grandiose altered states and mundane tiny micro-events. In addition, they are, of course, also the result of inspiration from other music and art. I do think this new album is the most consistent body of work we have so far: It incorporates our ‘blacker’ past with our influences from prog rock, our present sense of absolute freedom, and the joy of being in this band, if that makes any sense… Ha, ha, ha. It is higher in energy, more aggressive, yet more beautiful and subtle. It simply sounds inspired.” The track listing for In Times is:

The new album’s total running time is fifty-three minutes. Main recordings for In Times took place at Duper Studios to Solslottet Studio in Bergen, Norway with additional recordings sessions at Conclave & Earshot Studios (presided over by ENSLAVED members Larsen and Ice Dale), and Ivar Bjørnson’s Personal Sound Studios. Additional experimentation and sonic exploration was conducted deep in the woods of Valevåg south of Bergen where a mobile studio recorded additional sounds.

In Times was produced by band members Ivar Bjørnson, Grutle Kjellson & Herbrand Larsen together with Iver Sandøy. Mixing was completed by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden.

Enslaved will play Bloodstock Open Air next Summer held in Catton Park August 6th-9th.

TÝR recently unveiled their latest music video, "The Lay of Our Love," from their most recent album, "Valkyrja." The song features a vocal duet with Leaves' Eyes vocalist Liv Kristine. So, naturally, fans will be excited to see that Kristine joins Heri Joensen and the rest of TÝR in this new video! The video was produced by Stanimir Lukic, directed by Ivan Colic.

Týr's recent album "Valkyrja" debuted on charts worldwide upon release in September of 2013. In the US, the album reached #15 on the Billboard Heatseeker's Chart, #22 on Current Hard Music, #39 on Overall Hard Music, and #70 on the Independent albums chart! On iTunes on day of release, "Valkyrja" reached #4 on the metal chart. In Europe, the album entered at #45 on German Top 100 Album Charts, and #76 on Switzerland's charts. And in Canada, the record reached #26 on the Metal chart. On iTunes Canada, the record peaked at #2 on the metal chart, #9 on the rock chart, and #73 on the top 200 albums chart!

The concept behind "Valkyrja" involves a story based around a nameless, Viking-era warrior, who leaves his woman and goes off to impress the Valkyrie on the battlefield so that she may bring him to Valhalla, or to Fólkvangr, the home of Freyja—the goddess associated with love, sexuality, beauty, fertility, gold, sorcery, war, and death. One can say the album is also indirectly about women and how they affect men and what men will do to impress and obtain women. Front man and founder Heri Joensen goes on to explain; "the woman that the warrior leaves may represent the earthly women. Freyja, The Lady Of The Slain, may represent the perfection of Women, and the Valkyrie is the link between the two, taking men from earthly to godly women."

THE FIRST two Almighty Re-issues – ‘Blood, Fire & Love’ (first released in 1989) & ‘Soul Destruction’ (first released in 1991) – will be made available via Spinefarm Records on February 9th 2015. Every effort has been made to make these new versions as complete as possible – a celebration of the early work of a band (formed in Scotland in 1988) who have long been regarded as highly influential to the UK metal scene, splicing elements of rock, punk & full-tilt metal, and notching up a Top 5 UK album and successive Top 30 singles.

Musically, The Almighty staked their ground between Motorhead & ‘Electric’-era Cult, which made their early Polydor releases – five albums, starting with ‘Blood, Fire & Love’ – a breath of fresh air for riff-hungry rock fans the world over; and now, with their reputation continuing to flourish, Spinefarm has taken over from Polydor (the band’s original home) as the label co-ordinating the Re-issue campaign…
