About One Morning Left:

One Morning Left is gearing up to release their third full-length album, entitled Metalcore Superstars, after making their fans wait for almost three years from their 2013 album Our Sceneration. Time hasn’t changed or matured the band too much since One Morning Left is still what fans are used to; melodic metalcore with a hint of electronic dance music and a tongue-in-cheek feel. However, this time the members are a bit more aggressive.

After the release of Our Sceneration, One Morning Left pretty much continued where they left before entering the studio. The band toured around Europe a quite bit playing shows with bands like Adept, F*ckface Unstoppable (Bam Margera), Protect The Hero, and We Butter The Bread With Butter. This helped One Morning Left to gain lots of new fans, drunken tour stories, and bruises. The band took time off from the road and entered a song writing mode in early 2014. Ultimately it took two years of hard work to get the new album written, recorded, and finished. In 2016, they will return to the stages with a brand new album that will definitely please their old fans and confuse the new ones. One Morning Left is the most "Heavy Metal Finland” as it gets.

MORTIIS reveals new video for 'The Shining Lamp of God'

Mortiis has launched a new video for the track ‘The Shining Lamp of God’, taken from the new album ‘The Great Deceiver’ penned for release via Omnipresence on 4th March.

Check it out here:

This is the second single from the forthcoming Mortiis album. The video continues the story that the first single/video ‘Doppelgänger’ started. Directed by Robyn Van Swank and Nick Plotguin, ‘The Shining Lamp of God’ is equally rife with graphic images, bringing to life the internal struggles and demons that the song’s lyrics tackle as well as metaphorically using religious symbols to convey an inner anger toward others’ selfishness so deep that one fails to see their own ego centrists behaviours.

Mortiis comments: “We made two videos, although they were shot as one, ‘The Shining Lamp of God’ is another chapter - same place, same hellhole, just escalated, I suppose.. It never real ends…”

THE 69 EYES - release "Universal Monsters" in April: first details + trailer!

Helsinki's most famous vampires, THE 69 EYES, are proud to announce the title of their new, 12th studio album, which will be released on April 22nd via Nuclear Blast: It's called 'Universal Monsters' and contains eleven brand-new Finnish Gothic hymns. The cover can be interchanged between 5 different images; one of each band member - and can be seen above.

The new album’s cover artwork, as well as the first video single, were conceived by Finnish photographer and director Ville Juurikkala - known from his works for NIGHTWISH, AMORPHIS, HIM, APOCALYPTICA and MICHAEL MONROE. As the album title 'Universal Monsters' refers, the band are portrayed in movie monster lighting, showing them as classic and timeless creatures. “The covers are planned and designed as an old-school CD covers - remember when the booklets used to be as exciting as the album itself?! It will actually have five different covers being such a folder - each member of the band can be used as a cover creature of their own. Ville has really succeeded in capturing the classic movie vibe for the shots without any special make-up or photo shopping. THE 69 EYES are the universal rock ’n’ roll monsters - not so many of us left anymore,” says THE 69 EYES vocalist Jyrki. “So from real fans I wish they would get the actual CD in their hands to get the full album treatment as we have planned it to be experienced!”

The 'Universal Monsters' tracklist racks up as follows:

01. Dolce Vita 02. Jet Fighter Plane 03. Blackbird Pie 04. Lady Darkness 05. Stiv & Johnny 06. Never 07. Miss Pastis 08. Jerusalem 09. Shallow Graves 10. Rock 'N' Roll Junkie 11. Blue

The first making-of 'Universal Monsters' teaser trailer takes fans into the beginning of the album’s recording sessions with producer Johnny Lee Michaels and drummer Jussi 69 in nighttime Helsinki. Some beers getting them through... Watch the clip here:

The first single and video from it will be released on January 15th, 2016. It’s called 'Jet Fighter Plane' and the video for it was directed by Ville Juurikkala.

Watch the fitting teaser here:

“The song has a dark early 80’s kind of vibe. I wrote the lyrics those Cold War-era times in my mind. Strangely the world has totally returned into those dark days again after recording the song,” says THE 69 EYES vocalist Jyrki.

“It’s been some 15 years since we recorded 'Blessed Be' and 'Paris Kills' albums with producer Johnny Lee Michaels here in Helsinki. You can consider 'Universal Monsters' as a follow-up to those records. Nobody makes this kind of music anymore.”

LUCERO announce UK tour in February ... New album 'All A Man Should Do' out now via ATO Records

Lucero have confirmed a UK tour in February. The band, who just completed a major US tour, released their new album ‘All A Man Should Do’ through ATO Records in September. Dates are as follows:

Thurs 4th February - Newcastle - The Cluny Fri 5th February - Glasgow - Audio Sat 6th February - Bristol - Exchange Sun 7th February - Bristol - Exchange Tues 9th February - Manchester - Ruby Lounge Wed 10th February - Manchester - Ruby Lounge Thurs 11th February - Leeds - Brudenell Fri 12th February - London - The Garage Sat 13th February - Southampton - Joiners

Following the release of 2012’s 'Women and Work', Lucero’s new album 'All A Man Should Do' contains some of the most resonant lyrics Ben Nichols has ever written. They read like chapters from his life: the duality of relationships, getting older, finding where you want to be in this world and more.

Working with producer Ted Hutt (Old Crow Medicine Show, Flogging Molly) for a third time at Memphis’s Ardent Studios, the band felt comfortable enough to take some chances with a palette of new tones that sound understated yet powerful, bringing life to the stories behind the lyrics without overshadowing them.

This is a Memphis record in the greatest sense and a perfect finish to the three-part love letter to a city that brought them up and made Lucero what they are today.

Drowning Pool Debut Third New Song Via Revolver Magazine

Platinum selling metal act DROWNING POOL have released a third new song titled "Hell To Pay," exclusively via Revolver Magazine. "It's about the futility of regret," says vocalist Jasen Moreno. "It's about the danger in second guessing yourself. It's about battling depression. It's about closure."

The band released their hit single "By The Blood" last month and it continues to rise up the Active Rock Radio chart as well as SiriusXM's Octane channel. A lyric video can be seen below.

Drowning Pool will release Hellelujah on February 5, 2016 via Entertainment One Music (eOne).

The band tapped renowned artist Brian Mercer (CHRIS CORNELL, LAMB OF GOD, HIGH ON FIRE) to design the cover art. Hellelujah will be the follow up to Resilience, released in 2013. This time the band worked with producer Jason Suecof (AUGUST BURNS RED, DEICIDE, DEATH ANGEL) at the helm. DROWNING POOL will also be performing at the 2016 NAIRMA AWARDS taking place January 22nd at The Yost Theater. The award show is just one of many events surrounding the annual NAMM Convention.

rowning Pool have beaten the darkness and now they celebrate life on life’s terms. The core trio of C.J. Pierce (guitar), Stevie Benton (bass) and Mike Luce (drums) mine hardship, struggle and disappointment to emerge victorious each time, crafting empowering hard rock anthems. Drowning Pool songs conjure emotions that deeply connect with those who persevere against the odds and sacrifice to survive, and their music transcends boundaries of race, class and lifestyle as well, resonating with people from all walks of life who look to music to get them through life’s challenges.

Jasen Moreno’s powerful vocals enabled him to quickly master Drowning Pool’s dense catalog when he became the band’s frontman in 2012. From his reverent delivery of the late Dave Williams mosh-pit ready lyrics in the ubiquitous signature hit "Bodies” to his powerful take on Top 5 Active Rock hits like “Step Up” from Desensitized (2004), “37 Stitches” from Full Circle (2007), and “Feel Like I Do” (Drowning Pool, 2010).
