Under Paris Announces March Tour with Arc Of The Sun

Greenville, NC - After two successful independent releases, their Imminence Records’ debut, and an east coast tour with Roots Like Mountains and Lake Effect, metalcore outfit Under Paris is pleased to announce their newest tour. The Wake The Neighbors Tour will see the band touring the Midwest with tour mates Arc Of The Sun in support for last year’s Transitions.

“We haven't been back on the road in awhile so getting back into it with an awesome band should be amazing. 2015 was a great year for us, hoping to make 2016 even better!” - Jayden Serrano (Guitarist)

About Under Paris:

Metalcore outfit Under Paris was formed in September of 2012 before wasting no time and releasing their first single, entitled "If the Drugs Don't Work, Can You Drive Me Home?,” that featured Rene Lopez of Scarlett O'Hara. During the summer of 2012, the band wrote and recorded their acoustic EP Clean Lungs and released it August 23rd, 2012. The band continued to play countless shows with the likes of Beartooth and The Ghost Inside throughout the next year. Before hitting the studio in September 2013 to record their debut full band EP, entitled Our Stories, with Derek Moffat of 608 Studios.

They released two singles from their Our Stories EP, “You’re Going Nowhere” and "Hold On Pain Ends," before the EP was released January 5th, 2014. The latter single was released as the band’s first music video. Shortly after, the band went into the studio to record their first single, "Midwest Winters," for their first full-length Transitions. The single would turn into the band’s second Music Video. Later that summer, the band finished recording the full length. In February 2015, the band announced that they had signed with Imminence Records and would release the full length in the spring.

Feenixpawl team up with fellow Aussie's Strange Talk for huge new single

"You have needs; we all do. Sometimes what you need makes sense; sometimes it does not. Perhaps what you need is a brand new lyric video from Feenixpawl and Strange Talk. If so, you're in luck, because that's exactly the need we are happy to help satisfy for you today. - Red Bull

YourEDM mentioned that Grammy nominated DJ duo, Feenixpawl had the Midas Touch in 2015 - launching a new label, Eclypse Records, releasing their first label compilation, scoring 2 charting singles in the Billboard Dance and Mediabase charts - simultaneously, touring across the country and gaining widespread hype from major outlets like EDMSauce, Earmilk, Electronic Musician and more.

It seems the boys are set to continue their winning streak into 2016, arriving with the massive new single, "Everything I Needed" featuring fellow Aussie's, Strange Talk.

“We've known Strange Talk for many years — we all come from Melbourne, and we've talked about working on something together for such a long time," says Feenixpawl. "We feel that this track is a true reflection of both our styles, and we had so much fun working on it. We just hope people love listening to it as much as we loved making it. It's definitely a 'jump around your living room in your underwear' kinda track.”

"Everything I Needed" is available to purchase on 3/4, with pre-orders for the track launching tomorrow.

BLACK ORCHID EMPIRE REVEAL VIDEO FOR SINGLE ‘COME IN’

London-based trio Black Orchid Empire have revealed the brand new video for their debut single – 'Come In'. An infusion of complex melodies and mammoth riffs, this epic single now has an equally impressive video.

Watch it here:

The video combines an intricate, multi-layered narrative that references surveillance culture and espionage with a powerful performance from the band.

“The whole thing was a mad idea – the fact that it actually came together at all speaks volumes about the raw passion and insane work ethic of everyone involved. We filmed a lot of the video in an old derelict factory near our studio that we were told was abandoned - the thousands of pigeons and rats thought otherwise. It was absolute carnage, the longest day of our lives - but definitely well worth it.” - Vocalist Paul Visser

BOE have performed alongside heavyweights such as Biffy Clyro, Skunk Anansie, Feeder and Editors and are thriving in the resurgent British rock scene. Winners of Emergenza UK, the band includes previous members of highly-acclaimed groups Queen Adreena and Cape Fear, and is poised to be one of the breakthrough acts of the year.

Watch out for their full-length debut album due later this year.

The band will be celebrating the single release with a special free show and launch party at London’s Borderline on the 2nd of March. Details below:

March 2nd – The Borderline, London

Other upcoming shows:

February 27th – Sanctuary Live, Basingstoke February 28th – Rebellion, Manchester February 29th – The Shed, Leicester March 11th – Lady Luck, Canterbury

JOHN COFFEY ANNOUNCE NEW EP AND REVEAL VIDEO

John Coffey have today announced the release of a new Kurt Ballou produced EP called 'A House For Thee' set for release on March 11th through V2. The first taste of the EP comes in the form of the single 'No House For Thee'. Watch the video here:

The band comments on the video: "This is our new video for 'No House For Thee'. It's a song in which we want to make clear that when a brother or sister from afar needs help, we should offer it. The lyrics in the song can be quite harsh, being based on the tragedies which happen on our European seas. But if it represents anything at all, it is always a call for humanity. There should always be a house for those who lost their own."

With their new EP 'A House For Thee', John Coffey appeals for humanity with regard to the actual refugees-issue in the world. It's no political statement or a solid answer to finalise this crisis, but a whole-hearted effort to focus on the people that are suffering, rather than a sentimental debate.

"We don't want to criticise politicians or international organisations, but we want to let our heart speak: fellow human beings need proper help and a more human life. We raise our voice for humanity!"

'A House for Thee' was recorded and produced by Kurt Ballou (guitarist of Converge). He worked before with artists like Every Time I Die, Modern Life is War, Code Orange and Kvelertak.

John Coffey recorded the whole EP in one week with Kurt in his God City Studio in Salem, Massachusetts. "We wanted to work with Kurt for a long time. These songs and their themes asked for a harder and darker sound than our previous recordings. And it worked out: these are the hardest and roughest John Coffey-songs ever."

The sketches of the artwork have been drawn by Olf de Bruin. These pictures represents human beings as hermit crabs; some with a shell, some without.

TESTAMENT Announce Two Regional UK Shows

Testament are delighted to announce that they will be returning to our UK soil this June to play a couple of regional UK show dates as part of a wider European tour.

Esteemed frontman Chuck Billy said regarding their UK return:

“Testament are excited to be playing some club dates in England. It’s been a while since we have played some intimate shows there and we can’t wait. Be ready for a great night of thrash metal!”

Testament have been working hard in the studio over the past year on the follow up to 2012’s ‘Dark Roots Of Earth’. Their new record is due for release this summer via Nuclear Blast, stay tuned for more details…

You can see Testament live at the following UK shows:

21st June - Leamington Spa, The Assembly 22nd June – Southampton, Engine Rooms

Testament were one of the first thrash metal band to emerge from the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1980's, originally formed as 'Legacy' in 1983 by founding members Eric Peterson (rhythm guitar), Derrick Ramirez (guitar) and Louie Clemente (drums), the line-up included vocalist Steve Souza and Greg Christian (bass). Ramirez was later replaced by renowned player Alex Skolnick (lead guitar). Souza soon departed to join Exodus and suggested that the imposing Chuck Billy take over as frontman. The band became known as 'Testament' 3 years later while recording their debut album in Ithaca, New York. ‘The Legacy’ was a brutal introduction in 1987, putting Testament at the forefront of the flourishing thrash metal scene.

Following ‘Live At Eindhoven’, an EP recorded at Holland's Dynamo Festival, ‘The New Order’ (1988) was very well received, producing one of the band's most memorable classics ‘Disciples Of The Watch’. Next came the highly successful ‘Practice What You Preach’ (1989), then the release of ‘Souls Of Black’ (1990) coinciding with the famed European 'Clash Of The Titans' tour with Slayer, Megadeth and Suicidal Tendencies - which helped cement their place in thrash royalty.

Testament signed with Nuclear Blast in 2007 and have since released two critically acclaimed studio albums; ‘The Formation of Damnation’ (2008) and ‘Dark Roots Of Earth’ (2012).
