SHAWN SMITH (Brad / Pigeonhed) announces rare UK / IRE April / May Tour 2015



Shawn Smith plays an all too rare run of shows in the UK from April 23rd to May 5th. Shawn has been heralded as “One of the best Rock Vocalists of all time” by Mojo Magazine and this intimate tour will be his first solo tour in the UK since 2008 and follows 2013 SOLD OUT Brad tour.

Described by Greg Dulli (Afghan Whigs) as ‘Seattle’s Best Kept Secret’, Shawn has established himself as one of the most respected musicians from the pivotal Seattle music scene.

Shawn’s music has been heard around the world with his music soundtracking many hit TV shows such as Sopranos and ER. Empire Magazine hailed Long Term Parking ‘The Best Sopranos Episode Of All Time’ and the episode featured two of Shawn’s songs played at poignant heartbreaking moments.

He is also highly sought after for collaborations - with the Lo Fidelity Allstars remix of ‘Battleflag' becoming a hit record across continents.

Shawn Smith has cited Freddie Mercury, Prince and KISS as early influences. It is easy to hear the impact of all of these varied performers his various projects.

This tour will see Shawn in his own words spreading the energy of peace, love and understanding’ performing songs from his vast catalogue of solo recordings, as well as those from his various bands such as Brad and Satchel.
