Bristol, CT - Hard rockers Crossing Rubicon, who features Jeanne Sagan – formerly of All That Remains – on bass, have set the release date for their hotly anticipated album entitled No Less Than Everything. The lead single for the debut full length was the album’s second track, entitled “Unhinged.”
"There were a lot of people that thought I was crazy for walking away from my career and pursuing this record, and there were a lot of people who believed in me, both were my inspiration during the recording process. I did this to prove the first group wrong and to inspire both." – Scotty Anarchy (Vocals)

The Virginmarys debut new video
"Anarchy remains very alive in the UK, at least in the case of the buzzy punk rock created by the Virginmarys" - Yahoo
Hailing from Macclesfield, England, the Virginmarys make anthems that scream with all the potent sound and fury of modern punk acts, brimming with the honesty of prime British rock of the early 1970’s, before the wizards and capes overcame the attack and dynamic.
The UK based three piece recently returned with a staggering new track - "Into Dust" - an erratic call to arms about the disillusionment and boredom that creeps into everyday life. With jagged riffs and an erratic bassline, the song bleeds with a sense of urgency that is impossible to ignore. Today, the band arrive with explosive visuals to match the track, streaming exclusively on YahooMusic.
The band recently announced a string of new dates opening for Shinedown and are thrilled to be coming back to America, after having last played here at some “surreal” radio-sponsored festivals in stadiums with Soundgarden and Pearl Jam and a mammoth 14 shows at SXSW in 2013. The U.S. has been good to the band after they became a hit on radio, with singles ‘Dead Man’s Shoes’ and ‘Just A Ride’ hitting the Top 30 Alternative and Active Rock charts in the US and Canada. “America was a massive headfuck really,” says Matt, “but it was an amazing experience, because you hear so much about it as a musician, to actually be there was a dream. It was insane to think that I played in Las Vegas. I never thought that day would come.“

STOCKHOLM ROCKS FESTIVAL Confirm AVATARIUM To The Bill
Even one more band, doom metallers AVATARIUM has been added to the Stockholm Rocks Festival 2016 bill, set to take place May 7, 2016 at Debaser Medis in Stockholm, Sweden. This is the first live show ever in Stockholm for AVATARIUM - joining Inglorious and Grand Magus, more names to be announced soon.
AVATARIUM deliver a special blend of heavy adventurous music. Think about Jethro Tull, Blue Oyster Cult, Sabbath and Rainbow. It’s all there together with some delicate moments of beauty and frailness that you rarely find in a band these days. In AVATARIUM's music you will also hear tangents of pop and 60’s influences.
Inglorious are five young men with a mutual love and respect of the classics of Hard Rock music, big guitar riffs, and soulful vocals. Their influences stem from iconic rock and roll shrine of Rock albums from the 1970s – many years before the band members were born.
Grand Magus are a Swedish heavy metal band from Stockholm. The Sweden trio has always consequently sticked to its own path of evolution without ever leaving behind the gathered experiences – they’ve never casted off their early days’ groove nor their love for epic doom or extreme metal.

Jozef Van Wissen - New album Released 18th March
Belgium based label Consouling Sounds are set to release the new album from Dutch minimalist composer Jozef Van Wissem.
Van Wissem’s celebrated lute compositions have met with universal acclaim. 2013 even brought him the Cannes Film Festival Soundtrack award for his score of Only Lovers Left Alive — a vampire film by Jim Jarmusch. He is known for constantly pushing the boundaries of his own craft, and for having a keen eye for the aesthetics of his work. These were also two key focal points for the direction of Consouling Sounds. The label comment, ‘ being able to collaborate with Van Wissem feels very natural, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to present “When Shall This Bright Day Begin” for a 2016 release.'
The album harbors eight new compositions that will feel both familiar and fresh, with Van Wissem pushing his compositions subtly away from a rigid contemporary classical style into a more open sound with an almost experimental dark folk/rock orientated emphasis. Van Wissem even quite literally opens up his work, as he invited renowned artist Zola Jesus for two collaborations. Listening to the album, this comes as no surprise. The musical touch of Zola Jesus on this album blends seamlessly with the sound horizon of Jozef Van Wissem. The album is scheduled for a March 18th release.
