MOLOKEN: European Headlining Dates + Support Shows for Cult Of Luna To Commence Next Month

Swedish progressive sludge bringers, MOLOKEN, will kick off a string of tour dates next month in support of their 2015 release All Is Left To See out now via Temple of Torturous. The journey finds MOLOKEN trekking across Europe on a handful of headlining shows as well as six performances opening for Cult Of Luna. Dates begin on April 6th and run through April 16th with an included stop on this year's edition of Roadburn. This latest run marks the band's first trip to the United Kingdom and France.

MOLOKEN:

4/06/2016 Alte Meierei - Kiel, DE 4/07/2016 DIY Cafe - Lille, FR 4/08/2016 The Chunk - Leeds, UK 4/09/2016 The Garage - Glasgow, UK * 4/10/2016 Sound Control - Manchester, UK * 4/11/2016 Islington Assembly Hall - London, UK* 4/12/2016 La Gaite Lyrique - Paris, FR * 4/13/2016 Le Grande Mix - Tourcoing, FR * 4/14/2016 Roadburn Festival - Tilburg, NL * 4/15/2016 Bambi Galore - Hamburg, DE 4/16/2016 Oden - Karlskrona, SE

*Supporting Cult of Luna

Out now globally via Temple Of Torturous, All Is Left To See is MOLOKEN's first studio offering in four years. Recorded mostly live by Pelle Henriksson at Tonteknik Recording (Refused, Breach, Cult Of Luna, Meshuggah, Entombed), the record boasts thirty corrosive minutes of some of the band's most eclectic, engrossing and traumatizing compositions to date and includes the stark and twisted cover renderings of Costin Chioreanu (Bloodbath, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Ulver etc). A monolithic wall of dread and despair shrouded in sulfuric atmospheres and an overwhelming sentiment of desolation, MOLOKEN's All Is Left To See centers itself around a lyrical concept called mörkrets kärna (Swedish for "darkness core"), and serves as a veritable soundtrack to falling into a pit of misery, depression and paranoia, dragging down loved ones and trying desperately to make sense of it all.

ENSIFERUM compilation “Two Decades Of Greatest Sword Hits”

Finnish metal powerhouse Spinefarm Records have announced album details of the first compilation release of iconic pagan metallers ENSIFERUM. Closing the Spinefarm chapter of Ensiferum’s relentless ascent to pagan metal hall of fame, the collection “Two Decades Of Greatest Sword Hits”, to be released in April 1st 2016, is a testimony of things past but definitely worth remembering.

"20 years since the first notes were played in Ensiferum's first rehearsals. I doubt that 15-years old Markus Toivonen had any idea what he had just started and what kind of journey the band would begin that day. So much has happened in 20 years but the cornerstones of our music, folk and metal, are still there and we will keep exploring this unholy combination until we die, hah. We have always composed songs with lots of patience and hard self critisism but still wanted to have some blink in the corner of the eye and push our musical boundries. This compilation gives the listener great chance to hear how the band has evolved during these years. Enjoy and folk on!"

Complete with the band’s in-depth song descriptions and reminiscence, “Two Decades Of Greatest Sword Hits” features 14 of the most proudly shield-pounding epic metal hymns of Ensiferum to take you through the formative years of a band that became one of the biggest heroes of its generation in the ever-expanding realm of heathen metal.

The tracklisting for “Two Decades Of Greatest Sword Hits” is as follows:

01. By The Dividing Stream 02. From Afar 03. Heathen Horde 04. One More Magic Potion 05. In My Sword I Trust 06. Token Of Time 07. Dragonheads 08. Twilight Tavern 09. Burning Leaves 10. Treacherous Gods 11. Lai Lai Hei 12. Two Of Spades 13. Iron 14. Victory Song

formats: Jewelcase CD, digital,2LP

Ensiferum are:

Petri Lindroos - growls, lead guitars Markus Toivonen - lead & acoustic guitars, vocals Sami Hinkka - bass & vocals Janne Parviainen - drums Emmi Silvennoinen - keys, vocals

ZAKK WYLDE DEBUTS "SLEEPING DOGS" MUSIC VIDEO. COREY TAYLOR FEATURED ON "SLEEPING DOGS" ALBUM VERSION

Guitar icon ZAKK WYLDE has released an all new music video for the track "Sleeping Dogs" from his forthcoming solo LP. Long time collaborator Justin Reich was tapped to direct. "Black Label Brethren O' Doom Father Justin Reich Did Another Amazing job Directing the video," says Wylde. "I asked Father Justin to capture the sights, sounds, smell and feel of the first day my parents dropped me off at kindergarten. Watching the video made me realize why I'm so fond of reading and vegetables."

Grammy nominated, SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR frontman COREY TAYLOR will appear on the "Sleeping Dogs" album version as well. Wylde continues, "Having Father Corey Taylor's brilliant Voice sing on 'Sleeping Dogs' fulfilled my vision of the two of us as the modern day Simon & Garfunkel. We may not be as legendary, talented or as handsome as those two, but we've eaten at some of the same restaurants as them."

"Sleeping Dogs," "Tears of December" and "Lost Prayer" are now available as an iTunes instant gratification tracks, meaning fans who pre order the album on iTunes will get the single immediately. An additional pre order bundle is also available offering a Book Of Shadows II CD plus a 17"x11" poster.

You can also find ZAKK WYLDE on the cover of the new April/May issue of REVOLVER MAGAZINE. The cover is being revealed for the first time today. Wylde is also on the cover of the May issue of GUITAR WORLD with legendary blues guitarist BUDDY GUY.

Zakk Wylde will release Book Of Shadows II on April 8th, 2016 via Entertainment One Music (eOne Music), his first solo release in 20 years. This release is the highly anticipated follow up to 1996’s Book of Shadows LP, a classic album Wylde released between his work with Ozzy Osbourne that has since become a fan favorite.

The fearlessly introspective melancholy and melody of Book of Shadows helped to make its follow-up one of Rolling Stone’s Most Anticipated Albums of 2016. As fierce and diverse as his work in Black Label Society and as large as his accomplishments as lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne have been, Book of Shadows II offers an even richer look into the spirit and psyche of one of the most beloved pillars of the hard rock community. Brand new tracks like “Sleeping Dogs,” “Tears of December,” “Darkest Hour,” “Harbors of Pity,” and “The King” are bold proclamations of intense feeling and powerful catharsis.

Zakk Wylde’s powerful pipes, mayhem-inducing charisma, mischievous humor, and instantly recognizable pinch-harmonic driven blues based histrionic guitar shredding have made him the world’s most beloved American Guitar Hero.

Keeping up with his road dog reputation Wylde has accumulated over the decades, he is treating 2016 no differently. Having just wrapped up a successful run on the The Hendrix Experience Tour featuring some of the biggest names in Rock N Roll celebrating the legacy of Jimi Hendrix. Wylde has wasted no time in announcing his participation in the 2016 Generation Axe Tour featuring Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt and Tosin Abasi.
