HEIDEVOLK – NEW ALBUM IN SPRING 2015

HEIDEVOLK – NEW ALBUM IN SPRING 2015

After more then a month of recording, mixing and mastering HEIDEVOLK has completed their fifth full-length album. The band describes their experiences in the following statement:

"This week we have finished the production of our fifth full length album. We look back at an intense yet satisfying studio session with a killer product as a result. Although we booked the studio for plenty of days it proved to be a tight schedule to record, mix and master 15 songs. However, with the help of Jochem and Bouke at SplitSecondSound we've managed to maintain our focus and keep the quality to the standard it deserves. We cannot wait to release the album and play the new songs live in March 2015!!!"

Details about the release, album cover, title and track list will be announced early next year. For now HEIDEVOLK posted their first webisode with a peak inside the production process of the new album and a sample of a new song here:

The pair posted the remix as Jack U, the collaborative name that the two producers previously released debut single 'Take U There (Featuring Kiesza)' under, in September.

As Pretty Much Amazing reports, Jack U’s remix came as part of a live set at OWSLA’s Christmas party - the record label founded by Skrillex in 2011. An official release for the remix is yet to be confirmed.

ESSENCE OF MIND - 'Wrong' EP

ESSENCE OF MIND - 'Wrong' EP

Building up on the success received by the new sound approach they revealed on their recent "Indifference" album, Norway's ESSENCE OF MIND announce «Wrong», the 3rd chapter in the EP-trilogy ahead of the hugely anticipated release of their 4th full length album, "The Break Up!", and this is all in the wake of their recent German tour with their neighbours, APOPTYGMA BERZERK. Powerful, melodic and electronic with a touch of industrial metal and other dance music elements such as drum’n’bass, this exciting new song confirms the band's unique sound and faultless production maturity. ESSENCE OF MIND selected 3 specific and very different remixers to give us the impression that each remix is an all new song standing on its own, let it be the drum'n'bass influenced tune from DISKONNEKTED, the powerful melodic and 80's tainted electro track from TECHNOMANCER or yet the very emotional and moody piano remix by XENTURION PRIME... As a last but not least bonus, you will also find the exclusive song "For Real" reminding us of the amazing diversity of sound of this talented Norwegian band...
