CORNERS OF SANCTUARY - "Axe To Grind"

Hailing from Philadelphia, Corners of Sanctuary formed in 2011. Driven by the power and inspiration of metal music, C.O.S. has ignited the fires of classic Heavy Metal, bringing the genre full circle as the sounds of yesterday live again as the sounds of today in the New Wave of American Heavy Metal (NWoAHM) genre!

Hard hitting, head banging, straight forward Heavy Metal is the mission - nothing less will do. Old School is back with a vengeance... Metal Has Returned!

C.O.S. is currently in the studio working on their next album “Metal Machine”. Look for the album and new tour in early 2015.

DUNDERBEIST LIVE DATES AND NEW ALBUM FOR 2015

DUNDERBEIST LIVE DATES AND NEW ALBUM FOR 2015

The new Dunderbeist album is finally done; it has taken the hard-hitting Norwegian quintet two years of blood, sweat and tears. The result is exceptionally complex in its simplicity, still keeping their snappy hooks and tongue in cheek humor. The album“Hyklere” (Eng.: Hypocrites) presents you a ripened Dunderbeist sound, a dive into the darker aspects of life. Brutal and honest, their most personal and greatest work to date! «Hyklere» will be out on March 2nd!

As traditions are, Dunderbeist will hold their release concert on Gregers in their hometown Hamar (NOR)! The date is set to the 28th of Feb! Two tickets-bundles are available for the release concert: you can get a ticket + «Hyklere» CD, or ticket + «Hyklere» LP. Dunderbeist are also announced for the Tons Of Rock Kick Off on Jan 29th and theTons Of Rock Festival 2015 in Halden (NOR)!

Pre-orders of «Hyklere» CD, LP and clear blue LP, and the ticket bundles for the release concert are all available on dunderbeist.indierecorings.no now!

The new album is mixed by Vincent Sorg (Kreator, Die Toten Hosen, Oslo Ess) and all lyrics are in Dunderbeist’s native tongue, with its raw and brutally honest touch from their local woodlands of inner Norway.

Phal Angst Release Haunting New Clip For "Hardwire"

Phal Angst Release Haunting New Clip For "Hardwire"

Austrian industrial mob Phal:Angst are set to unleash their brand new video for the stunning “Hardwire”. Set to be released in tandem with their upcoming new album “Black Country”, the band have worked tirelessly to build a name for themselves in their native Austria and are setting their sights on bigger game this time round.

A stark and frightening clip, the band had this to say regarding the clip: “The first video to the new Phal:Angst Album "Black Country" is to the song "Hardwire" and it was shot in the legendary Viennese café/bar "Café Stadtbahn" which enjoys a perfect reputation with local bohemians, (sub)cultural people & heavy drinkers. So, a perfect ambience for Phal:Angst.

Also note the sign for "Kat's Caravan" which was a regular event there and refers to the legendary radio show by Jim Lowe & John Peel. The "story" of the video is social alienation, boredom, voicelessness but also a glorification of slowness. It might not be a coincidence that this one comes out of the city of Vienna, well known for it's morbidity, leisureliness and psychoanalysis. It took the viewers of the test screenings usually about 5 minutes to start asking themselves "what the fuck?!”

"At the end all questions should be answered.”

Phal:Angst is an Industrial/Post-Rock-Band from Vienna/Austria. Formed in 2006, they sit between Industrial, EBM, Post-Rock and Doom; taking influence from bands like Earth, Mogwai, Coil, Front 242 and Neurosis. They’re set to release their new album “Black Country” on November 14th alongside an album of “Black Country” remixes from prominent Austrian producers.
