Anton Kellner & The Lone Stars Share Album 'Understand' a Day Ahead of Release
Stream Understand Exclusively at Exclaim! HERE
With the release of their sophomore album Understand [out 2/26/16]on the way, Alternative-Folk/Americana outfit Anton Kellner & The Lone Stars partnered with Exclaim! to give fans an exclusive first-listen at the album in full. Understand was produced by Anton Kellner and Nolan Perry, mixed and mastered by Nolan Perry. Here is what Anton Kellner had to say about the release:
"Understand is a dark journey into the unknown. A diary of sorts, tying together strands of daily struggles and emotions but from the outside-in...For once, nothing that I have written on this album is personal. They are all separate stories about real people and their drastic situations that I have witnessed over the years. This album was written entirely by me. No collaborations, no special guests. We took a lot of risks with it, and dared to step into stories that were outside our comfort level. We are very proud of the end result, and truly believe that this is simply "our album." - Anton Kellner

More on FATN:
Hailing from Lancaster, Pennsylvania; the sextet features double front-men Matt Brandyberry (responsible for the relentless twisting verses) and Chris Musser (delivering razor edged vocals) and they are already dealing in the sort of arena-ready anthems that will make you want to kick your 9-5 into the middle of next week.
Fuelled by the monotony of dead end jobs in a small, post-industrial blue collar town, FATN have written a collection of gut mangling tracks blending rap, rock, metal and riffs to create a dynamic aural antidote to the modern life grind. “When we were recording the album, we were all holding down full time jobs,” explains Musser
“To put it bluntly, there’s a lot of ‘Fu*k you’ on this album,” laughs Brandyberry. “A lot of stuff about shitty relationships, about working hard for something and people telling you can’t do it, about never accepting that things are just ‘beyond you’. We’re not the cool band from LA or New York or any of those places, we’re six regular guys from a regular place but that is in our favor, not against us. We understand what it’s like.”
With a US arena tour with Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach already under their belt and a record deal along side some of the best known rock acts out there, From Ashes To New look set to take their message to a bigger stage they could have ever imagined.
ZAKK WYLDE DEBUTS "SLEEPING DOGS" & ANNOUNCES EUROPEAN TOUR
Guitar icon ZAKK WYLDE today has debuted an all new single titled "Sleeping Dogs" from his forthcoming solo LP. "Sleeping Dogs" will also be available as an iTunes instant gratification track, meaning fans who pre order the album on iTunes will get the single immediately.
Pre-order Book Of Shadows II HERE.
Zakk Wylde will release Book Of Shadows II in UK/Europe/Australia/NZ on April 8th, 2016 via Spinefarm Records, his first solo release in 20 years. This release is the highly anticipated follow up to 1996’s Book of Shadows LP, a classic album Wylde released between his work with Ozzy Osbourne that has since become a fan favourite.
The fearlessly introspective melancholy and melody of Book of Shadows helped to make its follow-up one of Rolling Stone’s Most Anticipated Albums of 2016. As fierce and diverse as his work in Black Label Society and as large as his accomplishments as lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne have been, Book of Shadows II offers an even richer look into the spirit and psyche of one of the most beloved pillars of the hard rock community. Brand new tracks like “Sleeping Dogs,” “Tears of December,” “Darkest Hour,” “Harbors of Pity,” and “The King” are bold proclamations of intense feeling and powerful catharsis.
Zakk Wylde’s powerful pipes, mayhem-inducing charisma, mischievous humour, and instantly recognizable pinch-harmonic driven blues based histrionic guitar shredding have made him the world’s most beloved American Guitar Hero.
Keeping up with his road dog reputation Wylde has accumulated over the decades, he is treating 2016 no differently. Having just wrapped up a successful stint on the 2016 Axes and Anchors Cruise, Wylde wasted no time in announcing a run of European dates for May 25th through June 19th in support of Book of Shadows II. The tour – including headline shows & festival appearances – will see Wylde perform music from his extensive catalogue and vast spectrum of hits, with full band accompaniment.

DEVIL YOU KNOW release official live video for 'Consume The Damned'
DEVIL YOU KNOW have posted an official live video for the track 'Consume the Damned' online. The track is taken from the band's latest album They Bleed Red and was filmed during their tour with Papa Roach and Five Finger Death Punch last year.
The band were recently added to the line up for this years Download Festival on June 12th. Speaking about their appearance, guitarist Francesco Artusato commented: “DEVIL YOU KNOW are beyond excited to be kicking off our European summer tour with a performance at the legendary Download Festival. This is the very first time we have had the honour to perform there and we are coming with an arsenal of many new songs from our latest album, They Bleed Red, along with a few classics. It’s going to be intense, hot and sweaty so we hope to see you all there and want to meet each and every one of you. Lets party."
Howard Jones (vocals), Francesco Artusato (guitars), John Sankey (drums) and Ryan Wombacher (bass/backing vocals) deliver a dense monstrosity of technical prowess and angst-ridden passion. It’s the sound of primal bloodlust. Produced by Josh Wilbur (Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb Of God, Killer Be Killed), They Bleed Red is a breakneck paced trip through DEVIL YOU KNOW’s broken psyche, struggles with anxiety, and ultimate triumph against adversity, all laid upon a foundation of high-level artistic achievement and vitriolic full throttle heavy metal fury.

NEW EP THERE WILL BE TIME AVAILABLE 4/8
Indie rock quartet Me Like Bees has released an imaginative new music video for their single "Tundraland", off the upcoming EP There Will Be Time. The video follows a mischievous young pup (played by the band's vocalist Luke Scheafer) and his day on the town which results in some potentially serious consequences.
"We enjoy humiliating Luke, so we came up with the idea of putting him in a dog costume," says guitarist Pete Burton (who also plays the story's villainous dog catcher). "It was a pretty fun shoot! I pulled my hamstring though...it took like two weeks to heal. It was a bad pull!"
Me Like Bees worked with award-winning producer John Feldmann (5 Seconds of Summer, The Used, Panic! At The Disco) on There Will Be Time and will release the record on April 8th.
About Me Like Bees:
Me Like Bees is an American Indie Rock band hailing from the heart of Joplin, Missouri. Formed in 2009 the band has traveled thousands of miles and played hundreds of shows across the nation. By 2013, they released their first full-length record “The Ides” (LoveWay Records) produced by Jeff Smith (Never Shout Never, Trust Company, Carter Hulsey). The album received rave reviews by many internet media outlets. After competing against over 20,000 acts, the band won the 2014 Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands, earning them a shot to work with platinum producer John Feldmann (5 Seconds of Summer, Panic! at the Disco and of course Goldfinger). The subsequent EP that was recorded entitled There Will Be Time will be released independently on April 8th.
LORDS OF THE TRIDENT release Beyonce cover video "Djiva"
Madison, Wisconsin metallic pillagers LORDS OF THE TRIDENT have released their new Beyonce cover video for the song "Djiva", which was recorded for their latest covers EP titled "Re:Quests" released in December 2015.
Lords of the Trident vocalist Fang VonWrathenstein has checked in with the following comment:
"During the Kickstarter campaign for our last album, Frostburn, we offered the fans a pledge level that was "make Lords of the Trident play any song you want!" We received four pledges, and by far the most difficult pledge was a request to cover Beyoncé's Diva. Since we are a band that loves a challenge, we decided to not only cover the music, but also cover the music video as well! This is an (almost) shot-for-shot remake of the original Beyoncé music video. We hope you enjoy, or at the very least, are intensely weirded-out from the lengths we will go to for our fans. Oh, and why "Djiva", you ask? Because it's a djent cover of diva. Dj+iva!"

POP EVIL's smash hit "Footsteps" was just nominated for an iHeartRadio Award in the Rock Song of the Year category. The third annual iHeartRadio Music Awards is set to air Sunday April 3, 2016 via Turner Entertainment’s TBS, TNT and truTV networks.
The band also won an award for peer voted "Best Independent Artist" at this year's Radio Contraband Awards. The award is a big accomplishment for a band who are vocal and proud to be on an indie label. POP EVIL recently debuted their new music video for their track "Ways To Get High," which is currently approaching NUMBER ONE at Rock Radio.
The track is the second official single to come from their latest full length UP, which was released this past summer. "This song is a chance to free your mind and express yourself in whatever mood you may be in," says frontman Leigh Kakaty. "Find your Shine!"
The video was directed by long-time collaborator Johan Carlén who has helmed the last handful of visually stunning music videos the band has released including "Trenches," "Deal With The Devil," "Torn to Pieces" and most recently their #1 single "Footsteps."
The band reached #1 on the Mainstream Rock Chart for the fourth time in the band's career with their latest smash hit "Footsteps" and stayed there for a staggering 4 weeks last year. The single was not only the fastest charting single the band has to date, but was also the fastest independent record label single to go #1 at rock radio last year.
POP EVIL released UP on August 21, 2015 and saw the release land at #1 on the Billboard Indie Chart in the week of its release. The LP pulled in at #25 Billboard Top 200, #16 Overall and #3 Top Hard Music albums.
UP was released with some serious critical accolades. Blabbermouth called it "an album that will rock the socks (and other clothes, no doubt) off their fans." Huffington Post said the new LP "finds the Michigan band is in fine form." News powerhouse USA Today even recognized that Pop Evil have "become a familiar presence on rock radio" in a recent feature with vocalist Leigh Kakaty. POP EVIL released a flurry of tracks off their LP before its release. "Footsteps" led the charge with "In Disarray," "Dead In The Water" and "Ghost Of Muskegon" right behind it.
