SiriusXM’s Hair Nation Festival is set for Saturday, September 17 at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in Southern California. Eddie Trunk made the announcement with special guest Bret Michaels live on his SiriusXM show Trunk Nation with Eddie Trunk on Sirius XM’s Hair Nation channel on Monday, April 18.

Rock fans from around the globe are invited to re-live the filth of the Sunset Strip for one night only at SiriusXM’s Hair Nation Festival. The current music lineup is as follows: Vince Neil, Bret Michaels, Yngwie Malmsteen, Kix, Slaughter, Lita Ford, Vixen, Britny Fox, BulletBoys, Faster Pussycat, LA Guns’ Phil Lewis and Tracii Guns, Loudness, Junkyard, Vain, Tuff, Bang Tango, Pretty Boy Floyd, Odin, Gabbie Rae, and Circus of Power. The festival will be hosted by Eddie Trunk.

Vince Neil says, “I can’t wait to perform back in Southern California where it all started for me. This is a big kick ass event and I’m gonna pull out all the stops on this one. What a great lineup, in a great venue… see you in September. Be there!”

Eddie Trunk adds, “I'm truly honored to host the first ever Hair Nation show. As a lifelong fan, friend and supporter of so many of these bands on radio and TV it's great to see them have their own event to celebrate their decades of great music.”

SiriusXM will broadcast performances, as well as backstage interviews with artists, from SiriusXM’s Hair Nation Festival on SiriusXM’s Hair Nation channel, via satellite on channel 39 and through the SiriusXM app on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com. The broadcast will air the weekend of September 24.

General Admission and VIP tickets for SiriusXM’s Hair Nation Festival go on sale Friday, April 22 at 10:00 AM PT via www.HairNationFest.com and start at just $15 (plus fees).

SiriusXM listeners will be able to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public via a SiriusXM Ticket Presale from Wednesday, April 20 at 10am PT to Thursday, April 21 at 10:00 PM PT.

Two lucky unsigned bands will have the chance to play at SiriusXM’s Hair Nation Festival via SiriusXM’s Hair Nation Festival Battle Of The Bands, held Wednesday, August 17 at the infamous Whisky A Go-Go on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, CA. The grand prize winner will open the main stage, and the runner up--as chosen by host Eddie Trunk and other celebrity rock judges--will open the second stage at SiriusXM’s Hair Nation Festival. SiriusXM’s Hair Nation Festival is produced by Live Nation and Synergy Global Entertainment (SGE) and will feature nonstop music on two stages, including a rotating main stage with back-to-back performances, VIP Meet and Greets, a vendor village, and more.

ENTERTAINMENT ONE MUSIC BREAKS THROUGH THE TOP 10 WITH ZAKK WYLDE’S BOOK OF SHADOWS II

Entertainment One (eOne) breaks into the Top 10 this week with Book of Shadows II, the new album by guitar icon Zakk Wylde. The album debuts at #2 on the Independent Chart, #3 on the Rock Chart and # 6 on the Current Albums Chart, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

CILVER TO SUPPORT SIXX:AM THIS SPRING

April 18, 2016 - New York rock act CILVER will head out this spring serving as direct support for rock supergroup Sixx:AM, featuring Motley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx and former Guns N Roses guitarist DJ Ashba in May. "We are extremely excited to play with Sixx:AM," says frontwoman Uliana. "We are huge fans and we are extremely honored to be sharing the stage with them. Be warned, it will be a steamy night of RNR!"

The band has also announced a new batch of tour dates around their impending release. CILVER will participate in this year's WJRR's Earthday Birthday and 98 Rockfest with the likes of 311 and BREAKING BENJAMIN. They'll also be on the road with HALESTORM and LACUNA COIL for a handful of dates in mid May.

CILVER will release Not The End Of The World on April 29th, 2016 via Entertainment One (eOne), the first since signing with the indie label last year. The band's own Leon Lyazidi produced the record with help from well known producer Johnny K, who executive produced. The band is eager to release their songs to the world, the band spent a good portion of the spring locked away in Groovemaster Studios in Chicago.

"This is the perfect time to release this record," says Preotu. "A time where America is angry, frustrated, lost, but hopeful. The songs are honest and biographical to the point that every lyric made me cry as it transported me to important and memorable moments of my life. Moments of loss and hope, moments that every citizen and immigrant can relate to." Anchored by songwriting duo Uliana and guitarist Leon Lyazidi, the band has come a long way from their previous projects in New York City. What served as an artistic restart has turned into a runaway train of accomplishment that seems to be going faster as time goes on. The band signed a new deal with eOne Music last year. “eOne is real," says Leon. "When we set out to launch Cilver, we were looking for people who ate, slept and bled music just like we did. eOne was clearly a cut above everyone else and we couldn’t be more excited to be part an amazing roster, led by a passionate and creative team.” Uliana was recently featured in the Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock issue of the magazine and calendar. After a series of radio festivals and showcases, CILVER then found themselves on a boat with Motörhead for the Motorboat Cruise this past fall. In similar fashion, the band also participated on the ShipRocked Cruise this January, which sailed from Miami to the Bahamas.

The bands have been close friends for many years (as well as now sharing a drummer in Bill Jacobs) so entering the studio together to create GUPPY was a natural move. With the help of Steve Sears and Tony Nigelson at TITAN Studios in Watford the record sounds absolutely massive and showcases the expert groove and wicked sense of humour that both bands pride themselves on!
