HELLIONS RELEASE NEW SINGLE 'CREASY'

Sydney hardcore trio Hellions today release 'Creasy' from their incendiary second album 'Indian Summer' (Feb 02, UNFD). A forceful blast of caustic energy, 'Creasy' represents the punk rock side of Hellions' assault throughout 'Indian Summer' which owes as much to the operatic theatrics of My Chemical Romance as it does the barely-controlled fury of Stray From The Path.

"'Creasy' is about hedonistic excess and its cognitive consequence; the incongruous duality of the fearful and fearsome within one," says guitarist Matt Gravolin.

Forming in early 2013, Hellions wasted little time in establishing themselves as a national presence with a series of incendiary tours and a critically acclaimed debut record. But now, with the release of new album 'Indian Summer' they're taking their textured approach to punk chaos worldwide. This is not a standard punk rock album - it speaks with guitars, pianos, strings, noise and silence of depression and young defiance; it's thrillingly manic and perfectly coherent all at once.

“Indian Summer represents everything we stand for as individuals,” begins drummer Anthony Caruso. “This is the first time we have ever felt truly content with where we at musically, which is exciting and invigorating for everyone. It’s honest, confronting and true to ourselves. Hellions isn’t just a band, it’s a way of life and Indian Summer is our way of showing people who we are. It’s for everyone.”

Releasing their first single ‘Infamita’ in June 2013, Caruso, Gravolin and frontman Dre Faivre quickly racked up supports and tours with Deez Nuts, Attila and Every Time I Die before releasing their UNFD debut 'Die Young' in September. The trio’s blend of aggressive, hardcore-influenced guitar work, punk rock melodicism, frenzied percussion and Faivre's unique delivery all combining to form a sound and style that Hellions can proudly call their own.
