Nature Ganganbaigal and TENGGER CAVALRY have been turning heads in the music world since the band's inception in 2010. In 2014, Ganganbaigal released his Mongolian New Age album To Where Tengger Leads Me. The album won a bronze medal from Global Music Awards and a nomination from Hollywood Music in Media Awards. In 2015, Nature moved to New York City from China and re-located the band with brand new American members. Last year, the band released a new album, Blood Sacrifice Shaman, out via Metal Hell Records.
TENGGER CAVALRY blends the nomadic music tradition of Central Asia with heavy metal music, creating the unique music genre mentioned above, Mongolian folk metal. Nature Ganganbaigal performs multiple Mongolian nomadic instruments including Mongolian horse-head fiddle Morin Khuur, Mongolian flute, Tibetan horn, Mongolian guitar (Tovshuur) and other instruments native to the region. He is also able to sing using the ancient Mongolian singing tradition of Khoomei, also known as throat singing or overtone singing. After the release of four studio albums in Europe and United States, TENGGER CAVALRY has become known as one of the most unique, innovative and exciting metal bands in Asia.

EAU CLAIRE, WI | MARCH 31, 2016: Alternative/pop band, The Millenium has been gaining a rabid fan base since their inception in early 2014. The band has been praised for their dynamic songwriting consisting of every ounce of their heart and soul, and today, The Millenium is yet again proving their moving musical abilities with their latest single, “Interstates.” Listen to the spine-chilling tune via the band's captivating visual accompaniment exclusively at Idobi Radio HERE.
“The foundation of this song, now four years old, is rooted in so many different monumental life changes for all of us. Written in all four seasons multiple times over has made it slightly ambiguous. Ever growing, ever reeling. The meaning has turned from a personal inquisition we once fondly knew, to a play-by-play of a character we’re not exactly familiar with anymore." - The Millenium
The Millenium was born from the demise of their previous groups, close friends Kyle Culver (guitar), Kyle Featherstone (guitar, piano, vocals), and Matt Hasenmueller (lead vocals) began writing music together to satiate the creative crave fostered by the ever changing culture of their hometown Eau Claire, WI (home of Grammy winning artist Bon Iver). Starting in early 2014, The Millenium tore into the world opening for bands Now, Now and The Summer Set on campus at UW - Eau Claire. Soon after with the success of their debut EP "It's So Much Friendlier With Two" (a record dedicated to love, loss, and learning - themes that resonate not just with each member individually, but have gone as far as defining our generation as a whole), the band saw ferocious growth on the road, securing five support tours and two headlining runs in the coming years. While often feeling like a pop band in a punk world, The Millenium strives to bring more nontraditional elements into their sound. Incorporating realms of indie, acoustic and electronic styles in a sometimes eclectic fashion, one is sure to appreciate a genuine sound showcasing undeniably catchy and melodically driven tracks intertwined with a playful and inventive blend of acoustic guitar and keyboard.
Head over to Idobi Radio to check out The Millenium’s new single, “Interstates.” The Millenium will be hitting the road this April in support of their new single, dates can be found below. Make sure you follow The Millenium on social media for new music, updates, shows announcements and more.

Out now globally via Temple Of Torturous, All Is Left To See is MOLOKEN's first studio offering in four years. Recorded mostly live by Pelle Henriksson at Tonteknik Recording (Refused, Breach, Cult Of Luna, Meshuggah, Entombed), the record boasts thirty corrosive minutes of some of the band's most eclectic, engrossing and traumatizing compositions to date and includes the stark and twisted cover renderings of Costin Chioreanu (Bloodbath, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Ulver etc). A monolithic wall of dread and despair shrouded in sulfuric atmospheres and an overwhelming sentiment of desolation, MOLOKEN's All Is Left To See centers itself around a lyrical concept called mörkrets kärna (Swedish for "darkness core"), and serves as a veritable soundtrack to falling into a pit of misery, depression and paranoia, dragging down loved ones and trying desperately to make sense of it all.
Finnish metal powerhouse Spinefarm Records have announced album details of the first compilation release of iconic pagan metallers ENSIFERUM. Closing the Spinefarm chapter of Ensiferum’s relentless ascent to pagan metal hall of fame, the collection “Two Decades Of Greatest Sword Hits”, to be released in April 1st 2016, is a testimony of things past but definitely worth remembering.
"20 years since the first notes were played in Ensiferum's first rehearsals. I doubt that 15-years old Markus Toivonen had any idea what he had just started and what kind of journey the band would begin that day. So much has happened in 20 years but the cornerstones of our music, folk and metal, are still there and we will keep exploring this unholy combination until we die, hah. We have always composed songs with lots of patience and hard self critisism but still wanted to have some blink in the corner of the eye and push our musical boundries. This compilation gives the listener great chance to hear how the band has evolved during these years. Enjoy and folk on!"
Complete with the band’s in-depth song descriptions and reminiscence, “Two Decades Of Greatest Sword Hits” features 14 of the most proudly shield-pounding epic metal hymns of Ensiferum to take you through the formative years of a band that became one of the biggest heroes of its generation in the ever-expanding realm of heathen metal.
The tracklisting for “Two Decades Of Greatest Sword Hits” is as follows:
01. By The Dividing Stream 02. From Afar 03. Heathen Horde 04. One More Magic Potion 05. In My Sword I Trust 06. Token Of Time 07. Dragonheads 08. Twilight Tavern 09. Burning Leaves 10. Treacherous Gods 11. Lai Lai Hei 12. Two Of Spades 13. Iron 14. Victory Song
formats: Jewelcase CD, digital,2LP
Petri Lindroos - growls, lead guitars Markus Toivonen - lead & acoustic guitars, vocals Sami Hinkka - bass & vocals Janne Parviainen - drums Emmi Silvennoinen - keys, vocals

ZAKK WYLDE DEBUTS "SLEEPING DOGS" MUSIC VIDEO. COREY TAYLOR FEATURED ON "SLEEPING DOGS" ALBUM VERSION
Guitar icon ZAKK WYLDE has released an all new music video for the track "Sleeping Dogs" from his forthcoming solo LP. Long time collaborator Justin Reich was tapped to direct. "Black Label Brethren O' Doom Father Justin Reich Did Another Amazing job Directing the video," says Wylde. "I asked Father Justin to capture the sights, sounds, smell and feel of the first day my parents dropped me off at kindergarten. Watching the video made me realize why I'm so fond of reading and vegetables."
Grammy nominated, SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR frontman COREY TAYLOR will appear on the "Sleeping Dogs" album version as well. Wylde continues, "Having Father Corey Taylor's brilliant Voice sing on 'Sleeping Dogs' fulfilled my vision of the two of us as the modern day Simon & Garfunkel. We may not be as legendary, talented or as handsome as those two, but we've eaten at some of the same restaurants as them."
"Sleeping Dogs," "Tears of December" and "Lost Prayer" are now available as an iTunes instant gratification tracks, meaning fans who pre order the album on iTunes will get the single immediately. An additional pre order bundle is also available offering a Book Of Shadows II CD plus a 17"x11" poster.
You can also find ZAKK WYLDE on the cover of the new April/May issue of REVOLVER MAGAZINE. The cover is being revealed for the first time today. Wylde is also on the cover of the May issue of GUITAR WORLD with legendary blues guitarist BUDDY GUY.
Zakk Wylde will release Book Of Shadows II on April 8th, 2016 via Entertainment One Music (eOne Music), his first solo release in 20 years. This release is the highly anticipated follow up to 1996’s Book of Shadows LP, a classic album Wylde released between his work with Ozzy Osbourne that has since become a fan favorite.
The fearlessly introspective melancholy and melody of Book of Shadows helped to make its follow-up one of Rolling Stone’s Most Anticipated Albums of 2016. As fierce and diverse as his work in Black Label Society and as large as his accomplishments as lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne have been, Book of Shadows II offers an even richer look into the spirit and psyche of one of the most beloved pillars of the hard rock community. Brand new tracks like “Sleeping Dogs,” “Tears of December,” “Darkest Hour,” “Harbors of Pity,” and “The King” are bold proclamations of intense feeling and powerful catharsis.
Zakk Wylde’s powerful pipes, mayhem-inducing charisma, mischievous humor, and instantly recognizable pinch-harmonic driven blues based histrionic guitar shredding have made him the world’s most beloved American Guitar Hero.
Keeping up with his road dog reputation Wylde has accumulated over the decades, he is treating 2016 no differently. Having just wrapped up a successful run on the The Hendrix Experience Tour featuring some of the biggest names in Rock N Roll celebrating the legacy of Jimi Hendrix. Wylde has wasted no time in announcing his participation in the 2016 Generation Axe Tour featuring Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt and Tosin Abasi.

The 25th March 2016 marks the release of pop rock quartet One Man Boycott’s debut album, ‘Counting The Seconds’, via Super Sick Records. Originally the brainchild of vocalist Joe Brewer’s solo project, according to the man himself, the band marks a fresh start: “It was, and still is, me trying to escape from the real world around me, my ‘boycott’ of ‘normal’ expectations I guess”. Completed by guitarist Lewis Chappell, drummer Frank Rawle and bassist Tom Hitchins, One Man Boycott pen the kind of energetic, instantly infectious pop rock nuggets that instantly instil a hankering for long sun-soaked days with good friends. Positively soaked in youthful exuberance, Counting The Seconds evokes pop rock’s halcyon days, where the stables of Drive Thru Records and Fuelled By Ramen saw gem after gem race out the gate with pop hearts unashamedly on sleeves, swinging songwriting savvy like a deadly weapon.
With crisp production from Romesh Dodangoda (Kids In Glass Houses, Funeral For A Friend, Decade), Counting The Seconds is as accomplished as debut albums get, One Man Boycott confidently presiding over their arsenal of slick, effortless vocals (Brewer commands an impressive 4 octave range), punchy guitars and driving drums. “For us, Romesh’s production stands clear of other producers in this country and in our genre as a whole,” opines Brewer; “His experience in rock, also the more pop side of that sound and honestly, a gut feeling that this was the guy to work with on this release. We werent’s wrong! To be able to have this album coming out at such a high quality is a big step up for all of us, we are all very proud of it.”
“Over the course of this album my lyrics actually touched on a surprisingly wide range of topics,” say Brewer, the frontman citing such inspirations as Addiction, Frustration, Love, Hope, Death, Cancer, Loss, Egos, Kidnap, Murder, Relationships, Friendship and, erm, Bristol. He concludes, “The name Counting The Seconds is part of a lyric in the last track on the album, As You Wish: “and I’m counting the seconds, ‘til you believe me”. It refers to the anticipation we’ve all felt in the run up to sharing this album with everyone, we can’t wait.” Luckily, their wait is over.
One Man Boycott’s ‘Counting The Seconds’ Tracklisting: 1. Sunshine Pizza Friends | 2. If Only You’d Stay | 3. Fingers Crossed | 4. Monument To A Normal Guy | 5. Liar | 6. Short Like Summer | 7. Sick Of It All | 8. Stockholm Swing | 9. If I Survive | 10. As You Wish
One Man Boycott Live Dates: 25/03 GLT, Barnstaple - Hometown Album release show/after party | 1st April: Barfly, Camden | 30th April: The Cove Boutique, Barnstaple (acoustic)
GYPSY CHIEF GOLIATH: Canadian Stoner Metallers Premiere "Black Samurai" From Citizens Of Nowhere Album
Ontario-based stoner metal marauders, GYPSY CHIEF GOLIATH, end the week with the unfurling of a new single from their impending third album, Citizens Of Nowhere, set for release this April via Pitch Black Records. The track storms into the public arena through a premiere of the album's fourth track "Black Samurai" exclusive to PureGrainAudio.
Get cut up by GYPSY CHIEF GOLIATH's "Black Samurai" at PureGrainAudio RIGHT HERE.
Proudly (and rightly so) declaring their affection for that good old warm sound, GYPSY CHIEF GOLIATH has gone completely analogue on this one, recording on reel to reel tape at Sharktank Studios in Windsor, Ontario. Citizens Of Nowhere is the follow-up to GYPSY CHIEF GOLIATH's New Machines Of The Night (Pitch Black Records, 2013) which received numerous praises worldwide, including the #4 spot in Revolver Magazine's online readers poll for album of the week as well as charting #15 on the CMJ Loud Charts. Clocking in at just under an hour, Citizens Of Nowhere is an album that truly "reels" the listener in right from the start and the band's unique style of bluesy stoner rock/metal, which includes three guitars and a harmonica, is set to captivate audiences once again. The album includes eleven tracks, with a cover of the Sabbath classic "Killing Yourself To Live" as a CD bonus.
Citizens Of Nowhere is scheduled for release on April 15th on CD and digital download.
AVATAR have released the first official radio single off their forthcoming LP today exclusively via Revolvermag.com. "You've heard Owl's hunting hymn. Now it's time for Eagle's mission statement," says lead vocalist Johannes Eckerström. "Just as he crashes into the world of his adversary, we will come crashing into your lives, screaming at the top of our lungs."
"We're still very early in the story and without giving away too much, I can say that things are about to change rapidly."
"The riff is a towel, the melody is water and y'all are about to get boarded. Have fun!"
AVATAR will release their very first concept album titled Feathers & Flesh to be released on Friday, May 13, 2016 via Entertainment One (eOne) in North America and Canada and Another Century overseas. The new release will be the band's highly anticipated followup to Hail The Apocalypse released in 2014, which cracked the Billboard Top 200 for the first time in the band's career.
The aim is set higher, further and deeper than ever before for AVATAR. Not only is this concept album their most extensive work to date, showing the widest range of any of their albums, it also contains a story too extensive for any booklet, so they made a book. A fully illustrated 60 page, 109 verse poem hardcover book. The physical album pre order, book, and exclusive merchandise is available now.
AVATAR have released three instant gratification tracks thus far from Feathers & Flesh. "Regret," and "House of Eternal Hunt" were released simultaneously just last week. When fans pre order the album through iTunes, these tracks are available instantly. The band recently released their first song off the record in a very familiar way, a music video. "For The Swarm" can be seen exclusively on the band's website AVATARMETAL.COM. Directed by longtime collaborator and director Johan Carlén, the video pegs itself firmly into the upper echelon of stunning visual masterpieces the band has grown accustomed to producing.
With past works being buzzworthy videos like "Bloody Angel," "Hail The Apocalypse" and the 2015 Loudwire "Best Rock video of the year" video for "Vultures Fly," AVATAR continues to raise the bar for what bands are doing visually in the current state of hard rock and metal. "For The Swarm" is also available as an iTunes instant gratification track, meaning fans who pre order the album today will get the track as an instant download.
Feathers & Flesh was recorded in Germany, Finland and Sweden in December 2015 with producer extraordinaire Sylvia Massy (System of a Down, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers). “Avatar is an amazing band,” said Massy, adding, “The singer has the wild energy and charisma I love, and the players are relentless. The album we’re making is an epic. Each song powerfully stands on it’s own, but is only a piece of a larger story. This album is the project I’ve been dreaming about for years!”
The music is as always, rooted in the extreme, with plenty of melodic sensibility and a lust for experimentation. There is a love for intense double bass drumming, riffing and shredding of timeless dimensions alongside rough edges, slow grooves and epic storytelling for the ages. The idea is that as the band digs deeper, the fists will be held up higher. The end result is a modern metal album with all the ruthlessness and power one could ask for handled with a loving songwriter’s hand, inspired by The Beatles and Queen.
AVATAR have developed quite the reputation for touring the US harder than even some of their American counterparts. Most notably, the band has grown well known for their epic performances in the US festival market. After their memorable performance at Rock on the Range 2014, a first for the band, it shows no signs of stopping. AVATAR will return to Rock on the Range, Welcome to Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, Rocklahoma and River City Rockfest in 2016. They will also be performing at Download UK and Download Paris this summer.

Electric Citizen, the Cincinnati-based four-piece already confirmed as main support on the forthcoming Wolfmother tour which takes place across Europe during April & May 2016 have announced further dates as special guests to Orange Goblin in October.
The band are also premiering the track 'Misery Keeper' with METAL HAMMER MAGAZINE now.
Check it out HERE.
'Misery Keeper is taken from the forthcoming album 'Higher Time' released, via the RidingEasy label on May 6th in Europe & May 13th in North America.
Like its predecessor, Higher Time was recorded at The Diamonds studio in Cincinnati by Brian Olive (The Greenhornes, Dan Auerbach, Dr. John, etc.), and in search of an even more expansive feel, Laura, Ross and Brian traveled to mix the album alongside Black Keys engineer Collin Dupuis at Easy Eye in Nashville, TN. The results speak for themselves. In Laura’s performance and in the multi-faceted approach of Ross alongside bassist Randy Proctor and drummer Nate Wagner, Electric Citizen branch out with stage-born assurance across a collection of definitive rock ‘n’ roll. It is a bold, complete sound that sacrifices nothing of the band’s on-stage energy and clearly demonstrates that while their progression has been quick, it’s been hard won the traditional way: They worked their collective ass off.

HELHORSE UNVEIL NEW VIDEO FOR ‘HELL OF A RIDE’ – LEAD SINGLE FROM NEW SELF-TITLED ALBUM, SET FOR RELEASE VIA SPINEFARM RECORDS ON MAY 13th
As we approach the May 13th release of the anxiously awaited new album from Denmark's fiercest purveyors of sludgy rock, HELHORSE, the band proudly unveils their new video for pulse-pounding lead track, "Hell of a Ride".
Produced and edited by Plastickid, shot by Theis Mortensen and staged in a simple setting, the video shows that, really, sometimes all you need to make a point is a band in peak form (“sounding like the bastard child of Black Sabbath and Thin Lizzy”), plus a bunch of rowdy friends. Simply, the song fully lives up to its title, bursting at the seams with ominous, explosive energy, and leaving the listener / viewer with the overriding urge to break something. Anything.
Join the party and bring the house down with HELHORSE’s gargantuan riff monster "Hell of a Ride"; watch the video RIGHT HERE:
With their raw, unholy mix of dirty metal, punk and classic rock, HELHORSE have positioned themselves on the Nordic rock/metal stage as a serious force to be reckoned with. With two critically acclaimed albums under their belt, the Copenhageners take the next bold step forward with “Helhorse”.
Overseen by noted US producer Michael Beinhorn, this the Danes’ 3rd album will be released worldwide in May through Spinefarm Records on CD, LP and all digital platforms.

The first track to be taken from the band’s forthcoming debut album due out later this year. Black Foxxes have already toured with Lower Than Atlantis, Mooseblood, as well as a heart-stopping performance at Reading & Leeds Festival. They will shortly be supporting Nothing But Thieves on their UK tour.
Their initial self-released EP gained many plaudits including spins at Radio 1 from Jen & Ally, Daniel P Carter, and Phil Taggart. The sound is raw, emotional and delivered with an infectious passion that makes this band stand out in a sea of beige, with a nod to Brand New, Jeff Buckley, early Radiohead & Neil Young’s Crazy Horse.
In the spring of 2015 the band signed to Search & Destroy Records / UMG. They have completed recording of the debut album between London and their native Devon. It will be a highlight of 2016.

British four-piece BOY JUMPS SHIP have debuted the video for ‘Lost & Found’. The track is the second single to be taken from the band’s forthcoming first full-length ‘Wake Up’, which is due for release via AMAZING RECORD CO on April 22nd.
Check out the video here:
"Our second single ‘Lost & Found’ is one of my favourite songs from the album and has been working great live. We nicknamed it 'Party Song' before it was given a name as it just makes you want to dance and jump up and down" – Si Todd
"We are really excited about the video for our new single Lost & Found. We went down to Manchester to shoot it, the location was really cool and had a real gritty feel to it, we love that. The song is really energetic and we felt it was really important that the video captured that energy and the spirit of the song overall, it certainly does that and we can't wait for people to see it." - Gav Gates
Hailing from the North-East of England, BOY JUMPS SHIP have gained a reputation for their energetic, passionate and exuberant live performances up and down the country and around Europe. Touring with the likes of Only Rivals, Young Guns, Arcane Roots and We Are The Ocean to name a few, as well as the UK leg of the 2015 VANS WARPED TOUR, audiences found themselves instantly connecting with their unavoidably addictive, massive melodic choruses and heavy-hitting riffs.
‘Wake Up’ is released via AMAZING RECORD CO on 22nd April.

MINISTRY main man Al Jourgensen's new project, SURGICAL METH MACHINE, inked a deal with Nuclear Blast Records for their debut album recently. The self-titled offering, which was recorded primarily at Jourgensen's home studio in Burbank, California with his longtime engineer Sam D'Ambruoso, will be released on April 15th worldwide. In support of the forthcoming album, Al has recorded a series of album trailers, with the third one being posted online today. Watch as he discusses the drumming on the new album, working on music without his Ministry comrades and more:
Listen to new track, 'Tragic Alert':
Al commented: "I hope you enjoy this soundtrack to the New World Order...you should, y'all helped create it!"
Pre-order Surgical Meth Machine on Limited Edition Neon Pink Vinyl exclusively from the Nuclear Blast UK store HERE
The track list for 'Surgical Meth Machine' racks up as follows:
01. I'm Sensitive 02. Tragic Alert 03. I Want More 04. Rich People Problems 05. I Don't Wanna 06. Smash And Grab 07. Unlistenable 08. Gates Of Steel 09. Spudnik 10. Just Go Home 11. Just Keep Going 12. I'm Invisible
In an October 2015 interview with In The Loop magazine, Jourgensen stated about how the idea for SURGICAL METH MACHINE came about: "You know, [guitarist] Mikey [Scaccia] died a couple of years ago, from MINISTRY, and I just figured, like, nah, it's time to quit. I don't want to have John Bonham's kid playing drums for us and having replacement parts forever; that's just not my scene. So I just figured, 'All right, let's stop this. Let's do some other stuff.' And not only that. I found that it was really unburdensome to not have the MINISTRY moniker or expectations and just do something like whatever the fuck we want. I mean, the band's name is SURGICAL METH MACHINE. It's not like we're gonna be on Top 40 radio and on 'The Voice' and 'American Idol'. [Laughs]"
He continued: "I understand it's not a real commercial project for us, it's not gonna put bank in my wallet, but it was a lot of fun to do, in that sense — of just not having the constraints of the expectations of what you've done for twenty years. So this is… It's kind of new stuff. It's pretty cool. It sounds like kind of MINISTRY, but it's a different level. It's like I literally just put my foot on the gas pedal for this record."
ccording to Jourgensen, the sound of SURGICAL METH MACHINE's debut release leans heavily on the aggressive side, but fans can also expect to hear a few surprises. "There's a couple of real poppy things on there, which brings me full circle, because, literally, I don't give a fuck anymore", he said. "So I'm actually almost acknowledging that first horrible pop record I did in 1983. I'm crooning on some songs, I've got some pop songs on there, and then there's just brutal assault for the rest of it. It's a very dichotomous record, but it's me, and I'm acknowledging everything that's been me through, like, the last 35 years. Let's just throw my balls on the table and hope somebody doesn't have a meat cleaver running."

Lizzy Borden has spent over three decades creating some of the most theatrical metal in existence, releasing classics such as Love You to Pieces (1985) and Master of Disguise (1989), while obliterating audiences worldwide with a stage show that rivals that of Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper. For his efforts, he has become nothing short of a metal icon. Now, to take the next step in furthering his career, Lizzy Borden has signed a worldwide solo artist deal with Metal Blade Records - the label that helped to launch him to commercial success over 30 years ago. Ready to once again captivate both veteran and adolescent metal fans alike, Lizzy Borden plans to release a new album in 2016 and tour the world in support of it, with a reinvigorated band backing him up.
Lizzy Borden comments:
"I am extremely happy to re-sign with the same label we started with all those years ago (Metal Blade Records). I'm excited to be working with Brian Slagel and all the Metal Blade family again. It's been my home for all six of our (full-length) studio albums - with the new record being the seventh, and the start of a new series of albums to come. My focus for the last several years has been performing live and exposing my brand of American metal to countries all over the world. Now I feel is the right time to step back and push the re-start button. Time to get back to the art of creating new music. Touring around the world and having new fans discover Lizzy Borden for the first time has been rejuvenating, and so a new album seems like the perfect way to bridge the past with the future. I will take this part of my journey and these next series of albums as a solo artist, as I have for some of the past LB records and tours. I look forward to working with many different established musicians and friends, as well as some undiscovered talent like we have been lucky enough to unearth in the past. To all of our fans that have followed Lizzy Borden from the beginning and all the new younger fans who have just discovered us, I hope you will come along with me for this next chapter. I am inspired, excited and ready to begin again. @realLizzyborden"
Stay tuned for more news about Lizzy Borden coming soon!

PURSON - NEW ALBUM, ‘DESIRE’S MAGIC THEATRE’, DUE FOR RELEASE ON APRIL 29TH 2016 13-DATE UK HEADLINE TOUR CONFIRMED
Purson welcomes you to Desire’s Magic Theatre… a technicolour trip through the mind’s eye of songstress / vocalist / guitarist Rosalie Cunningham, whose signature approach to her craft stands boldly centre- stage, blending progressive dexterity and cabaret romp into a compelling, multi-faceted rock ‘n’ roll show.
Desire’s Magic Theatre draws inspiration from the rock operas of the late sixties and early seventies; musically, visually and lyrically, it touches on a variety of realms, including folk, prog, psychedelic, gothic & classic rock, making telling use of classical instruments and complex arrangements, and fully exploring the outer limits of reel to reel tape.
Says Cunningham: “Desire’s Magic Theatre has turned out to be everything I’d imagined and more! My world has been so consumed by it that I’ve barely been able to reflect on what it has become: a technicolour variety show, a playful display of the musical whims only briefly hinted at in our previous work; a psychedelic rock opera dedicated to our good friends Sarge Pepper and Zig Stardust.”
Purson – Cunningham, George Hudson (guitars), Samuel Robinson (keyboards), Justin Smith (bass), Raphael Mura (drums) – have recently returned from a six-week tour of North America Special Guesting with Ghost, following on from a stint on the Kiss Kruise IV plus a sold-out Los Angeles debut at the notorious Viper Room.
Desire’s Magic Theatre is set for release on April 29th 2016 under the Spinefarm / Machine Elf banner, supported by a headline UK tour plus selected European shows; summer festivals and visits to Australia and Japan will follow.

Lead guitarist David Young says “it is very flattering to have our songs, likened to the music of Queen, Kate Bush, Genesis and Fleetwood Mac”.
Live gigs are where the mysterious The Duchess comes into her own and displays her amazing vocal range. With brilliantly crafted songs featuring screaming guitar solos and theatrical vocals over a powerhouse rhythm section, SPACE ELEVATOR are the new band to catch live this year!

There comes a time in every punk's life where he or she has to grow up, or at least acknowledge that maturity is just around the corner. blink-182 put it off for as long as they could, but ten years into their career and two albums after their big breakthrough, 1999's Enema of the State, they decided to make a stab at being grown-ups for their eponymous sixth studio album. As with many self-titled albums, the trio uses this as an attempt to redefine itself, and they have considerably expanded both their sonic template and lyrical outlook on blink-182. They're still rooted in punk-pop, but even songs that stretch no further than that sound are a little darker, a little restless, reflecting the overall mood of the record. In shorthand, this is the record where blink-182 delve into post-punk, opting for some appealingly sullen moodiness, off-kilter hooks, lots of sonic textures, and even a duet with the Cure's Robert Smith. Since the trio is an inherently catchy group, this is a far cry from neo-post-punk groups like Interpol or even the dynamically hooky Hot Hot Heat, but there is a greater variety of sounds on blink-182 than on any of the trio's other albums, and the songwriting is similarly adventurous, alternating punchy, impassioned punk-pop with weirder, atmospheric pieces like "Down" and "I'm Lost Without You." If nothing on the album has the immediate impact of "All the Small Things" — though the opener, "Feeling This," comes close — and if, on the whole, blink-182 isn't as bracing or visceral as Dude Ranch or Enema, so be it: there's more to explore on this album than any of their other records. It's an unexpected and welcome maturation from a band that just an album ago seemed permanently stuck in juvenilia.

March 18, 2016 - Los Angeles, California based Hard Rock band Blacklist Union have released a music video for their track "Evil Eye" from their latest album "Back To Momo" which is available for purchase now on iTunes. The video, which originally premiered with REVOLVER Magazine, was directed by Matt Zane (John 5, Wayne Static, Zakk Wylde, DMC, Orgy) of Lord Zane Productions.
This song is about the abuse I suffered from my mother as a kid and throughout my life and how I let it destroy me for many years. I just had to let it go and realize she is a sick woman who didn’t and still doesn’t know any better.
The video was extremely emotional for me. The part when my son acted as me when I was nine suffering abuse was so real and so life-like I actually cried a few times. Matt Zane [director] really brought it to life and I absolutely love the guy and love working with him. - Tony West
About Blacklist Union:
Now based in San Francisco, hard rockers Blacklist Union are back with their new single & video “Evil Eye”. This is the second release off their fourth CD entitled ‘Back To Momo’ which has been receiving massive airplay. Tony West and Todd Youth, two of rock n’ roll’s most controversial outlaws teamed together to write 13 blistering tracks for the CD. You are guaranteed inspiration with this brand of street rock with songs like “Alive N Well Smack in the Middle of Hell,” “Superjaded,” and “Evil Eye” which is a tale of abuse Tony suffered as a child from his mother & how that haunted his life until he finally just let it go.
Formed in 2004 by frontman Tony West, Blacklist Union released their debut ‘After The Mourning’ in April of 2006, which was met by critical acclaim all across the globe. From Memphis to Melbourne to Louisiana to London, Blacklist Union instantly made a mark throughout the rock n’ roll underground. Their follow-up in 2008 ‘Breakin’ Bread With The Devil’ with tracks including the title track, along with “Sixty-Five Steps Away” and “Wicked Love Song,” received the same amount of critical acclaim and put them on the map in the rock n’ roll world yet again. The band’s third full-length CD entitled, “Til Death Do Us Part” was released in 2012 and features amazing tracks including “Alabama Slammer” & “Diggin’ 4 Gold” was received yet again with the highest ratings and reviews in the press. Blacklist Union released their fourth CD, ‘Back to Momo,’ in July 2015, which has without a doubt has been received with as much or even more enthusiasm as their prior 3 releases & has certainly been exposing them to a larger audience around the world.
Blacklist Union have toured nationally receiving five star reviews from music industry magazines, fanzines, webzines, and has a continuously growing fan base both domestically and internationally. With all of their hard work and perseverance, Blacklist Union are a true rock n’ roll band that continuously push themselves to the limit in every aspect of their music. Singer/songwriter Tony West tackles real life situations that affect each and every one of us in one form or another. From character assassination, to name dropping, addictions, sexual innuendos, romance, friendships, birth, death and living on the edge of destruction is just a fraction of what is touched on in their music.
Blacklist Union previously worked with Doug Goldstein and When Pigs Fly Entertainment. The former Guns n’ Roses manager and now former Blacklist Union manager has said that ‘Back to Momo’ is “The best record that he’s heard since ‘Appetite For Destruction’ and that “Tony West is the hardest working frontman he knows.” Hailed worldwide as the next “big rock band”, Blacklist Union are clearly on their way from the street to the elite.

GalleryX – the new Dublin space for unsettling art – is delighted to introduce to Ireland the work of French digital artist Nihil.
Nihil is a writer, photographer and digital artist living in Norway. Inspired by ancient sacred texts, psychedelic trips and life experiences in hospitals and medical research centres, his texts and images reflects on transcendence, identity and individuality.
His work has been featured in two personal exhibitions in Paris and Berlin and he participated in numerous collective shows in USA and Europe. His artworks have been published in art books and magazines and are part of the permanent collection of the Contemporary art museum in Sicily. He first showed in Ireland as part of GalleryX’s Anniversary Show in December 2015.
The exhibition will include digital prints on dibond and on paper, and will be opened on 7 April at 6PM in the presence of the artist. A performance TBA will take place during the opening.
Nihil does not create for you, nor for anyone, he does not target any audience and does not respect any pre-established rule. With no stylistic pretension in mind, he does not profess to launch a new trend or to illustrate such or such critical or aesthetic concept. He has no goal of completion, no deadline, no publishing obligation, no plan of achievement other than the one to create congruence between his own will and the artistic object he is designing. Failure, whether temporary or definitive, is accepted. He has no ambition to be recognized in any way, or to inspire any radical and revolutionary manifestation, but rather an existential ambition: the point is for him, like Beckett’s character in The Unnameable, to “do what I have to do, the only way that can put an end to it, do what I have to do.”
Approaching and confronting Nihil’s work demands asceticism. You need to get lost and forget yourself, lose your bearings, accept no truce and take no rest. Only then will you emerge as a different person. The pictures and the texts will not leave you indifferent but they will not strike you either. They are an immense yet quiet power, with no appeal to lyricism; they will slowly crush you, fill you and impose themselves, flooding you. At first you will believe you will drown, and then you will learn how to swim, and finally you will be able to breathe. We can call it ambient art, as in “ambient” music. Humbly accept that there is nothing to understand, see or feel everything at once, accept to fall apart and then become, maybe, a the end, a figure from Nihil’s work.
