Entertainment One (eOne) today announced a partnership with metal label Lifeblood, Inc. to bring the Lifeblood Inc. imprint under eOne Music’s umbrella. As part of this exclusive deal, all releases will be marketed and distributed by eOne Music on a worldwide basis.
LIFEBLOOD was formed by three industry veterans Trevor Phipps (Unearth), famed producer Shane Frisby (Bury Your Dead, The Ghost Inside, and Becoming The Archetype) and entertainment attorney Alex Ploegsma.
Alongside this deal which will strengthen Lifeblood’s position in the metal world, the label also announces the first two signings under the new deal. 2016 will see full-length releases from both abstract death metal band THE SCHOENBERG AUTOMATON and metalcore band EARTHCALLER.
“Lifeblood represents another vehicle to bring great metal/rock artists to eOne," said Scott Givens, SVP of Metal, Entertainment One Music. “Their first round of releases are tremendous and there is much more to come.”
"Finding a proper home and partner for LifeBlood was key and we couldn't be any happier to finalize our vision with eOne,” said producer Shane Frisby.“With a roster that has included such an insane array of artists such as Hatebreed, Crowbar, The Game, DJ Drama and more, it’s truly a dream come true to work with such a diverse and multifaceted organization. The future is bright for LifeBlood and we are beyond excited for us to truly begin!”
"I couldn't be more excited to team up with my friends Shane and Alex on our new label and management venture," said Phipps. "I want to personally thank eOne Music for trusting in our ears and years of experience in many walks of the music business by giving us the opportunity to be part of their impeccable worldwide distribution and release music under the Lifeblood moniker."
Phipps’ band Unearth is part of the eOne roster, and continues to build an impressive metal legacy after releasing genre classics The Oncoming Storm and III: In the Eyes of Fire. Prior to co-founding Lifeblood, Phipps ran Ironclad Recordings, where he developed young bands and partnered with different established companies for distribution, including Metal Blade Records.
“I have massive respect for what Scott and his team are doing over at eOne and it is extremely exciting to be partnering with them on this endeavor,” added Alex Ploegsma, “I am looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship and cannot wait to get Earth Caller and The Schoenberg Automaton out to the masses!”

Los Angeles, California - Society 1 has released a music video for their track "I Can't Feel" from their album "Rise From The Dead". The video, which originally premiered with Metal Hammer, was directed and edited by singer Matt Zane of Lord Zane Productions (John 5, Wayne Static, Zakk Wylde, DMC, Orgy). The song was Produced & Mixed by Alex Crescioni at Stygian Sound and Mastered by Maor Appelbaum at Maor Appelbaum Mastering. Watch Society 1's "I Can't Feel" music video below:
When I direct our own videos it's always a challenge considering I have to jump in front and behind the camera. This video was the most difficult out of all the Society 1 videos because not only did I have to perform but imagine what was going on in the scene. Everything was done on green screen so I was just trying to think about what it was supposed to look like. When I brought it into editing the real challenge began attempting to create what I envisioned. A very cool creative experience. We're going to concentrate in the realm of complete manifestations of worlds and environments for further video's to bring the music that much farther. We want every sound and visual to really capture the full spectrum of the viewers imagination. - Matt Zane (Society 1)

About Society 1:
"Society 1 captures the essence of abuse, overkill and ultimate inspiration..."
One of the many quotes that describe what Society 1 has become since their inception. Love or hate what Society 1 stand for, no one can argue with the controversial recognition of this band. They have pushed limits that didn't even exist prior to their existence.
LA Weekly described Lord Zane as an embodiment of "Morrisonesque shamanics and Satanic self-determination."

Hell or Highwater, the rock band featuring Atreyu drummer/vocalist Brandon Saller on lead vocals, have signed to Search & Destroy/Spinefarm Records. They will release Vista via the label in 2016.
"We're so incredibly excited to be a part of the Spinefarm/Search & Destroy family. We've been crafting this album for two years and can't wait to share it with the world," Saller enthused.
Since their inception, Hell or Highwater have earned comparisons to acts like Foo Fighters and Muse, thanks to their knack for crafting unforgettable and uplifting rock songs.
Hell or Highwater honed their live chops by securing a spot on the annual UPROAR Tour in 2013 and also toured the world with the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, whose frontman M. Shadows contributed vocals on the song "Go Alone," as well as Stone Sour and The Used.
They've survived van wrecks and line-up changes but they've emerged stronger than ever and are eager to start their next chapter and deliver new material to fans.
Hell or High-water resurfaced last year with a new song and video for "I'll Be Waiting," which you can watch HERE.
