Convictions Sign with InVogue Records & Release New Music Video

Ohio based Convictions have signed with InVogue Records. The band will be hitting the studio this Friday to record their label debut full length with producer Nick Ingram (Hotel Books, Before Their Eyes, Dayseeker). They have also joined APA's roster (Senses Fail, Thrice, Brand New, Real Friends); being booked by agent Ben Mench-Thurlow. The band have also revealed they will be playing So What!? Music Festival this March in Texas.

Convictions self-released an EP last year titled, "Hallowed Spirit | Violent Divide" produced by Joey Sturgis. In support of the release they have launched a new music video for the single "The Dahlia Disease" that you can watch now at the InVogue Records Youtube channel.

Bassist/vocalist John Fleischmann says, "'The Dahlia Disease' contains content reflecting on the innocence we all once had when we were younger. Looking back on life, one can only acknowledge the ugly portrait that is Greed. It molds and changes us into this imperfect being we never once saw ourselves becoming.

At the end of this week, we will be starting 2016 strong by entering the studio to record our first full length album. We've been working non stop to bring everyone the music and message that they need to hear. Not enough people or Christians for that matter, are being real with their music, and we intend to be completely transparent with this new material."

Patterns of Decay Release "A Fool's Guide For Selling Your Soul" Official Video

Long Island, NY - Melodic heavy metal band Patterns of Decay have released the official music video for their track entitled "A Fool's Guide For Selling Your Soul", from their freshman EP Malicious Intent.

Our debut EP: Malicious Intent, is born of the collaboration of five misfits who never found a true home in the "scene". It is a mission statement that elaborates upon the sentiment that doing what you love is the only way to find true happiness, regardless of what others may think. The songs therein are written by us and for us. We aren't looking to "break the mold" with our music, but rather, tell the truth. We are showing you what we are, as well as what we might become. If you happen to enjoy the music, well, that's just icing on the bong. - Matthew Stirrat (Guitar/Clean Vocals)

Patterns of Decay was formed in April of 2014 in Long Island NY. All of its members had previously been in established acts within the New York metal scene and sought to create music of a beautifully aggressive nature. Patterns of Decay is not about following the current trends, but rather about making their music a reflection of their uncharacteristic charm. They are social outcasts with a passion for an abrasive sound. Most of them also smoke a lot of weed. They cannot be stopped. Patterns of Decay:

Christian "Christmas" Contello - Vocals Dan "It's Spaghetti" Gold - Guitar Eric "Upper West-Side XXX" Anthony - Drums Julius "The Human Hoverboard" Heuman - Bass Matt "Matterns ov Dekay" Stirrat - Guitar

And the metal community is going MAD for it….

“Toothgrinder’s debut is impossible to pigeonhole and exactly the kind of fresh, feral sound that the modern scene needs.” – Metal Hammer

“Toothgrinder is by far one of the most interesting bands in metal right now and there's really nothing you can say to convince me otherwise” – Metal Injection

Doris Brendel and The Room to co-headline at The Railway (Bolton)

The Room + Doris Brendel @ The Railway Bolton. Friday 25th March

The legendary venue that has played host to a great many names over the few years it has been going will soon be closing it's doors which will be a real shame as both Jon and Hilary have fought tooth and nail to provide one of the best small venues on the circuit.

The Room & Doris Brendel will provide a double headline gig there and we are honoured to be able to be one of the last few bands to ever grace the stage at The Railway.

This promises to be a night not to be missed both bands are absolutely excellent live so expect a night not to be forgotten!

ZOAX ANNOUNCE SPECIAL ONE OFF LONDON SHOW

UK’s finest ZOAX are putting the final touches to their debut album. Deadpress.com featured them in the “50 Bands To Look Out For In 2016” list and wrote: “Equipped with a charismatic and well-dressed frontman in Adam Carroll, combined with music that can be both a strong contender on the mainstream radio whilst still inciting a mosh pit, Zoax have been poking on our shoulders for attention for some time now.” We couldn’t agree more.

The album will come out in late April, 2016. But before, ZOAX are proud to announce their appearance as special guests to FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND on their sold out 'Last Chance To Dance' final farewell tour. FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND are playing one very last run of shows, performing the album 'Hours' one night and 'Casually Dressed' the following, night alongside songs from their other records and EP's. The tour package also includes the US metalcore originators SHAI HULUD. In case you didn’t manage to get a ticket, there’s another chance to see ZOAX headlining a special event February 23rd at The Black Heart in Camden, London, where the band will premiere a few new songs.

Formed in 2013, London-based ZOAX are a band set on creating music that inspire themselves in a seemingly stale and incestuous gene-pool. Still retaining the heaviness of their peers whilst infusing a broad focus on groove and melody, the 5 piece have succeeded in moulding a sound that sets them apart from the monotony of the masses. Feb 2014 saw the band introduce themselves to the world with debut EP, "XIII". Wetting the palate of listeners, the release lead the band to its 2nd Download Festival performance and on to tours with Cancer Bats, Polar, Feed The Rhino and He Is Legend. Drawing from a wealth of live experience in previous bands such as Rise To Remain, Axewound, Burn Down Rome and Time Is A Thief, the young-group control a stage with the maturity and finesse of the old dogs. With a live show that combines neck-breaking ferocity with Dickensian charisma, ZOAX are quickly cementing themselves as a must-see live band.
