Brotherhood of the Blade headlining tour begins Saturday
Tennessee's Whitechapel have unveiled their latest music video, today. But be warned: "Let Me Burn" isn't like other Whitechapel videos. The band collaborated with director Mitch Massie, the director behind the latest and most visually striking videos from Cattle Decapitation, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and more. Mitch Massie brought the lyrics to "Let Me Burn" to life in gloriously gory fashion; this video is not for those with a weak constitution.
Whitechapel vocalist Phil Bozeman explains: "The basis of the video is about a man, his wife and daughter. The story depicts the degradation of the man and him going insane. He kills his wife and eventually douses himself in gasoline and begs his daughter to strike the match. But the whole point of the story is that the man has everything he wants and needs, but has no control over his mind and suffers with clinical insanity/schizophrenia and regrets everything he has done." Guitarist Alex Wade adds: "It's our first time trying a story based video versus a performance video with us playing and we're really happy with how it came out. Phil's idea for the concept of the video mixed with Mitch Massie's directing developed a very dark and sinister feel that represents the song well."
The heavy video, both sonically and visually, can be seen now, and appropriately, at blood-disgusting.com HERE. Whitechapel will be back on the road beginning February 28th. The tour will take the band from Memphis through the Midwest on their way to Self Help Fest in San Bernardino, CA. Self Help Fest is scheduled for March 7th at the Nos Event Center and features The Devil Wears Prada, Pierce the Veil, Stick to Your Guns, The Ghost Inside, and more.

NIGHTWISH - BAND DISCUSS THEMES AND INSPIRATIONS FOR 'ENDLESS FORMS MOST BEAUTIFUL' IN NEW ALBUM TRAILER
NIGHTWISH's forthcoming album 'Endless Forms Most Beautiful' will be the band's first studio album to feature Dutch vocalist Floor Jansen and is set for release on 30th March 2015 via Nuclear Blast. The band have been posting a series of trailers documenting the making of the new album and today sees the release of the 12th episode. Watch as the band explain the themes and inspirations for the new album:
Main man Tuomas Holopainen comments: “There’s a kind of scientific approach to a lot of things on the album. Songs like ‘Shudder Before The Beautiful’, ‘Endless Forms Most Beautiful’, ‘The Greatest Show On Earth’ or ‘Alpenglow’ all somehow reflect the bliss of existence. It’s temporary character. Evolution…Maybe you could even talk about the poetic nature of science. Natural science and its paradigm – seem to represent something cold and boring to a lot of people. Hopefully we can illustrate with this album – that science can even be something profoundly spiritual.”
Stand-in drummer Kai Hahto adds: “It’s a perfect theme to an album. Like, how did we come to be? And when our time here is done, what kind of mark do we leave? It’s a pretty amazing theme.”

The Lounge Kittens have released a brand new video, alongside details of their first official release. 'Just The Tip' will be released via their own Grweat Records label on April 8th.
Gearing up to hit the road for their biggest tour yet with STEEL PANTHER, The ‘Kittens have also released their own take on the headliners gross-out video ‘Gloryhole’ – check it out here:
Jen Kitten explains the thinking behind the 6 track mini-album:
“The demand from the fans for us to release an album has been overwhelming and we’re really excited to share our music with people in a completely new way via the release of our mini-album ‘Just the Tip…’. We thought long and hard about what songs to include on the EP as we wanted to show the true variety of our musical passions, genre tastes, naughtiness and vocal range. So we’re off on tour with Steel Panther on their ‘All You Can Eat’ tour and managing to keep a modicum of ladylike restraint by only giving you ‘Just The Tip’…hahah...save yourself for another day, there’s plenty more to come from us!”
The full track listing is as follows:
1) Party Hard (Andrew WK cover) 2) Duality (Slipknot cover) 3) SeanAPaul Medley 4) Rollin (Limp Bizkit cover) 5) I Don't Want To Miss A Thing (Aerosmith cover) 6) Gloryhole (Steel Panther cover)
The Lounge Kittens first crossed the path of public consciousness one year ago when they unleashed their interpretation of Limp Bizkit's 'Rollin' via YouTube. Armed only with a piano and perfect three-part harmonies, the video quickly went viral, catching the attention of one Mr Fred Durst, who loved what he saw and heard. So much so that five months later, The Lounge Kittens were stood on the main stage of the SONISPHERE festival, jamming 'Rollin' with the rap metal legends themselves.
Subsequent interpretations - the word "cover" does not really do the Kittens's work justice - of Andrew WK and Slipknot have seen the trend of official originator endorsement continue, with Andrew WK describing the trio as "The partiest kittens in the world", and Slipknot's Corey Taylor proclaiming his love for their version of 'Duality'.
Appearances at festivals including the likes of SONISPHERE and GLASTONBURY saw packed tents and excitement over the summer of 2014, earning them enough fans to carry out their own headline tour in the winter. Now, just over a year since they first uploaded a video to YouTube in the hope of making a few people laugh, they prepare for a mammoth tour which will put them in front of tens of thousands of people, including a performance at the world renowned Wembley Arena.

Detroit-based electronic rock powerhouse Celldweller has released his explosive new single, "Good L_ck (Yo_'re F_cked)" via FiXT Online. The single, which is the first track released from Celldweller's highly anticipated new release, End of an Empire (Chapter 03: Dreams), shows Celldweller at his finest — harnessing a potent mixture of industrial-punk rock and industry-defining electronics.
Klayton, the mastermind behind Celldweller, said the song came to flourishion while writing a movie script with Grant Mohrman. The original idea of the script surrounded a character who fronted an electronic punk rock band — thus "Good L_ck (Yo_'re F_cked)" is born. Klayton said this aspect of the story exists, but the song, which he wrote in a day, made the cut.
"I took a moment to shed the concept of being Celldweller and instead, I wrote from the perspective of someone else," said Klayton. "I reproduced the song from the ground up and it became a Celldweller track that naturally fits alongside everything else in the End of an Empire universe."
Listen to "Good L_ck (Yo_'re F_cked)":
Alongside "Good L_ck (Yo_'re F_cked)" End of an Empire (Chapter 03: Dreams) features another new track, "Just Like You," and remixes from a team of the best electronic and rock artists in the industry. Industrial rock giant Combichrist, elite composer Tom Player, renowned German-based artist Hecq, and creative electronic musician Mobthrow all provide their unique takes on the new Celldweller tracks. The record is due out March 13 on FiXT.
