DREAMERS debut new EP "You Are Here" streaming on Billboard

DREAMERS debut new EP "You Are Here" streaming now on Billboard

Welcome to DREAMERS universe: you are invited to experience this Brooklyn-birthed band’s iridescent grunge-pop sound that will attack your senses and take you on an emotional odyssey of nostalgia and wonder.

They first launched their infectious tracks into the world with their independently released self-titled debut EP, with their breakout single "Wolves (You Got Me)" quickly landing in rotation on Sirius XM's Alt Nation.

DREAMERS recently released a new track "Shooting Shadows" via Fairfax Recordings -- a brilliantly burning anthem of love, hate and brooding malcontent boiling over into a hot mess, exclusively on THE FADER. The band quickly followed with their infectious new single, "DRUGS," an anthem for the modern ages that touches on our addiction to social media. Now, the Brooklyn-now-LA based three-piece arrive with "You Are Here" EP, co-produced by Kevin Augunas (Edward Sharp & The Magnetic Zeros, Cold War Kids).

"This was a dream come true for us, as [Fairfax] is the studio where some of our favorite artists recorded: Tom Petty, Neil Young, Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine, and so many others," guitarist/vocalist Nick Wold tells Billboard. "The last year and a half has been a surreal journey, from a self induced houselessness, living in a practice space in Brooklyn for 2 years, to circling the US four times in a small van, seeing countless cities and meeting incredible people everywhere we went. It gave us a new perspective as a band, and we finally left our comfort zone to embrace movement and change. 'You Are Here' is a blurred culmination of all our strange influences and varied experiences. I guess you could call it our dreams."

Catch their electric live show (which saw them open for the likes of Young Rising Sons and Atlas Genius) as they tour with with Arkells and Brazilian Girls.

Critical acclaim for Phantom Radio, released late 2013 on Flooded Soil / Heavenly Recordings.

"Mark Lanegan deserves elevation to the front rank of modern rock artists and Phantom Radio may be the album to finally force that shift in public percetion. Unlike most gothic pop, Lanegan's art is not a matter of fashion or mascara: it's a genuine cri du coeur, as rare and beautiful as anything in music" The Independent – 5 Stars ***** (Album Of The Week)

"It's fantastic, these unfamiliar surroundings – be it the Moroderesque shimmer of Floor Of The Ocean or the imperial synths of Waltzing In Blue – lending Lanegan's songs a fresh new bite. A brave inspired step into the unknown." MOJO – 4 Stars ****

"That ancient-sounding voice, seemingly hewn from rock's substrata, has always worked as a drone in its own right, and here it's matched by keyboards that shimmer behind, as if Lee Hazlewood were performing early-80s New Order." Q – 4 Stars ****

"A beautiful set that balances Lanegan's ongoing love of blues and folk with further explorations of the electronic terrain he explored on 2012's Blues Funeral" Uncut – 8/10

"Depite writing much of Phantom Radio on a phone app called Funk Box, Mark Lanegan boasts a melodic elegance more commonly associated with a classical orchestra… A graceful record that brings out the very best in the gruff veteran." NME – 8/10

"A career highlight… The Superb 'Floor Of The Ocean' could be the Sisters Of Mercy covering Joy Division, while 'Torn Red Heart' might be the most beautiful love song Lanegan has ever recorded" The Guardian – 4 Stars ****

"Lanegan carries his burdens with conviction and deceptive range. 'Floor Of The Ocean' is a synth-blues beauty, while the gorgeous post-punk hymnal 'Torn Red Heart', spotlights his timeless way with rueful songs of bruised fatalism." The Independent On Sunday – 4 Stars ****

"Mark Lanegan focuses his latest album around his love of krautrock and British post-punk… Phantom Radio proves that there's not just mileage left in him still, but that he's going to lead us to many more places yet." DIY – 4 Stars ****

"These songs are compelling, bleak, bruising and brilliantly realised… A compelling return." The Sun – 4 Stars ****

"Phantom Radio builds on the electro leanings of 2012's Blues Funeral, taking us back to the gloomier bits of the 1980s, with the transitional Joy Division/New Order a reference point… Long-time fans will lap up Torn Red Heart, the prettiest thing he has created outside of his Isobel Campbell collaborations" The Sunday Times (Album Of The Week)

"His voice, if anything, is getting better with age – grittier by the year and more soulful… There's no faking this kind of quality." Classic Rock – 8/10

"Rich in blood, sweat and atmospherics… With no sign of any creative let-up as he approaches his 50th birthday, its time to tune in and feel the spirit" The Mirror – 4 Stars ****

AVERSIONS CROWN - "Erebus" digital single out now

Brisbane metal destroyers AVERSIONS CROWN have released had their new digital single "Erebus" available via iTunes.

Fans can also check the visualizer / lyric video, here:

https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/erebus-single/id1075866928

“’Erebus’ is the first taste of what's to come from AVERSIONS CROWN in 2016,” comments guitarist Chris Cougan. “We've written over 20 songs for our next record, we're really excited about Mark's vocals, he is killing it. We couldn't wait to share some of it with you so head bang to 'Erebus' and we'll see you on the road soon with more new music!” 'Erebus' will appear on Aversions Crown’s next monstrous slab of brutality, which they will be tracking this month. The new year is set to get even more oppressive as the band delve further into their extraterrestrial dystopian nightmare.

The band’s latest album, Tyrant, was created in the oppressive heat of Brisbane’s summer with THY ART IS MURDER’s Andy Marsh producing and Mark Lewis (WHITECHAPEL, CARNIFEX) of Audio Hammer mixing. With a thematic fixation on dystopian nightmares and hostile extraterrestrial encounters, the relentless barrage AVERSIONS CROWN churn out across these ten songs will soundtrack either a solid Halo session or the coming invasion. The striking artwork was created by Swedish visionary Pär Olofsson, who has worked with acts like PSYCROPTIC, ABORTED, ABYSMAL DAWN, and THE FACELESS. Watch the music video for “Earth Sterilizer” as well as “Hollow Planet,” “Vectors,” and “The Glass Sentiment” on the Nuclear Blast YouTube channel.

About AVERSIONS CROWN:

Formed in 2010 in Queensland’s Brisbane - the same sunny stretch of Australian coastline that spawned PORTAL and THE AMITY AFFLICTION - AVERSIONS CROWN developed their pummeling blend of mechanized brutality and haunting atmospherics by utilizing three guitarists brandishing 8-string guitars. Appearing live as a wall of muscle, guitars and flailing hair, the band have logged serious road miles across Australia, Europe, and the U.K. with acts like THY ART IS MURDER, THE ACACIA STRAIN, OCEANO, ALL SHALL PERISH, and CATTLE DECAPITATION. They’ve also appeared on Warped Tour.

PORT NOIR reveal release date and details for new album 'Any Way The Wind Carries'

Swedish post-metal high flyers, PORT NOIR, will release their eagerly awaited second full-length opus on April 1st, 2016 via Century Media Records (World excl. North America & Nordic) and Razzia Notes (Nordic). The album is entitled 'Any Way The Wind Carries' and contains twelve brand-new tracks.

The band comments on 'Any Way The Wind Carries':

"Ever since the release of 'Puls', we've been writing and recording new material, trying to develop the current sound and find new ways to express our feelings via music. We really tried hard to find the perfect arrangements for the songs, in length, in melodies, harmonies and instruments. Everything. What we tried the most was to get to the point in our songs more quickly, so the listeners get a point of what they're listening to before getting bored of a 2 minute long intro.

We also opened our doors to synthesizers this time. During the process of writing material for the album, we were heavily inspired by 80's film music and other electronic music. We tried to integrate that vibe into our compositions, and you'll hear some of that on the album."

Recording duties were handled by Daniel Bergstrand in Mijas, a small mountain village in southern Spain. The album was mastered by George Nerantzis and the artwork was designed by PORT NOIR themselves.

'Any Way The Wind Carries' will be available as Jewelcase CD, LP+CD & digital album.

'Any Way The Wind Carries' track-list:

01. Any Way The Wind Carries 02. Earth 03. Vous Et Nous 04. Black From The Ink 05. Onyx 06. Diamond 07. Beyond The Pale 08. Fur,Rye 09. Exile 10. The Sleep 11. Come What May 12. The Oak Crown

PORT NOIR is:

Andreas Wiberg Love Andersson Andreas Hollstrand
