Zardonic is also gearing up to release his much anticipated debut LP Antihero with the legendary label eOne Music.

I’m trying to expand to something different this time. It is heavy, it is metal, but it is not strictly DNB anymore. Granted 6 out of 10 of the original tracks have a DNB beat, but I also did two electro tracks, a breakbeat/dubstep track and a glitch hop track. It also has instrumental mixes and remixes by Rusty K, Counterstrike, Dub Elements, Esparta, Darksiderz, Heavygrinder, Evol Intent, The Outside Agency, and Voicians. All in different genres spanning from Big Room House to Crossbreed/Gabber. This is an album for the people. For everyone. No more closed niches, no more tight scenes, no more underground “stupid kids don’t deserve to hear this” mindset. - Zardonic

More about ‘Xeno’

This record has a story of hope, failure, love, betrayal and death woven into its fabric so skillfully it's impossible to tell where truth ends and fiction begins. It's both an escape from and examination of reality that reveals more and more truths the further it delves.

Produced by Josh Wilbur (Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb Of God, Hatebreed) and mastered by Ted Jensen, ‘Xeno’ takes the groundwork laid by 2013's ‘Apocalyze’ and 2012's ‘Zion’ EP as well as the band's vast touring history and catapults them into a whole new league.

‘Xeno’ is an artistic endeavour like few others, with roots in manga, anime and the furthest reaches of its creators' minds. Frontman Kenta 'Ken' Koie, guitarist Kazuki Takemura, bassist Hiroki ‘Hiro’ Ikegawa, keyboardist Terufumi 'Teru' Tamano and drummer Tatsuya Amano are, quite simply, operating on a different level.

“This record is dedicated to everyone because we believe it will make a new phase in this music culture...

We had a bad time after we released the last album ‘APOCALYZE'. Our original guitarist Kazuki had to leave during a tour due to a cerebral hemorrhage, it was the worst thing to happen to us in our entire music career. Fortunately or unfortunately, it just affected his left hand. He is still alive, he never gave up as a musician and he wrote a couple songs for this record as well. It has bound us together as one.” Comments Ken.

He continues… “The experience of working with Josh Wilbur means a lot to us. He brought us fresh feelings and has helped us to create our best record to date. We put everything we’ve got into ‘Xeno’ and it is the most important and precious thing to us.

We can't wait to share the experience of ‘Xeno’. It is beating, it is alive! We are dedicating this record to everyone!”

Xeno is a character, two to be exact. This is an intricate story of artificial intelligence meets human desperation. The two combine to see the human Xeno, so distraught with the state of the world that he endeavours to bring creation through devastation.

“Everyone has a dark side,” says Ken. “Everybody is so hypocritical. And everything – our world – is being completely fucked up by so many people, especially the government. It's easy to see what they do. So Xeno, the person, decides to do something big so he can hit reset and start again.”

‘Xeno’ Track Listing:

1. System X 2. Xeno 3. Raise Your Voice 4. Devil’s Party 5. Ghost In The Mirror (feat. Caleb Shomo from Beartooth) 6. Dystopia 7. Wildfire (feat. Benji Webbe from Skindred) 8. Tears Fall 9. Paint It Black 10. Vanguard 11. Calm The Storm 12. Astral Heaven

KuBO release ‘STRANGE’ - OFFICIAL VIDEO

The brand new single from KuBO is available on iTunes. Listen to it now in the official video.

Arriving in two unique versions; the 'Synthwave Mix' & 'Darkwave Mix’, KuBO have given the song two very different musical slants. The first is a classic Synthpop orientated version in reverence to Steve and the music he made. The second, a darker, slower and more sinister mix, in keeping with KuBO’s distinct synthwave sound.

The song itself focuses on Steve's legacy and his unique vision for not only who he was, but how he wanted to portray himself to the world as an artist. He became more than just 'Fade to Grey’, more than an oddity on the cover of a magazine. He become an Icon for a moment in time, the face of a small group of outsiders, who decided the 80’s was their decade, and it was ok to be strange.

The sleeve artwork is taken from ‘Saint Steve Strange’ by New York based artist Matthew Lineham, part of his 'New Wave Saints' Series.

KuBO are a Dublin based electronic duo, producing synthwave/minimal electronic music on vintage analogue synthesizers. Consisting of Brian O’Malley (PolyDROID) and Aidan Casserlt (Glass Dancer). Brian’s ‘Gary Numan’ and ‘Vangelis’ inspired dark, cinematic synth layering’s, under pinned by pulsating bass synth lines and tight drum programming are the perfect counterfoil to the angelic voice of Aidan Casserly, who’s long time fascination with ‘David Bowie’, ‘Jacques Brel’ and ‘Kraftwerk’ make for a meeting of the minds that goes back to the roots of the music the pair made as teenagers.

Those original inspirations, fueled by a fascination with Science Fiction, Avante-Garde cinema, alienation and… Vampires, are once again at the centre of these recordings, which make for a synthetic landscape of brooding, melodic, minimal electronica, with the focus on a pure and deliberate exploration of synthetic sound and evocative vocal melody.

Since forming KuBO have released a cassette single with UK label Vocoder Tapes called “I Dream Electric”, a 7″ vinyl with UK minimal wave label Peripheral Minimal and are currently recording their debut album ‘Straight Lines’.

‘STRANGE’

You’re calling I’m waiting Your image and motion vibrating Paraded and postured The pan stick and lip gloss berated

The damned don’t cry Don’t freeze or die In London vampires cry

Is it him or her? I’m strange, I’m strange Does it matter that I’m strange, I’m strange? I’m seeking fame, not infamy I’m strange, I’m strange On the cover of a magazine I’m strange, I’m strange

I’m blazing Dictating This time bomb is ticking and craving The moment is history The blitz and the mystery

Crazy Town – The Brimstone Sluggers Release: August 28th, 2015

Crazy Town have revealed the details for their new album "The Brimstone Sluggers", which is set for release on August 28th, 2015 through Membran. "The Brimstone Sluggers" was produced by Bret "Epic" Mazur, and is stylistically a follow up to Crazy Town's platinum debut, "The Gift of Game", which featured the #1 single 'Butterfly'. The album is set to feature guest appearances by Tom Dumont Of No Doubt, DJ AM, Madchild, and Bishop Lamont.

Spearheaded by a team of Seth "Shifty Shellshock" Binzer and Bret "Epic" Mazur, Crazy Town combined hip-hop's lyrical attitude with the grooves of an alt-rock record. The combination yielded the group a number one hit in 2001, when "Butterfly" topped the Billboard 100 and helped push the band's debut effort, “The Gift of Game”, to platinum status, main stage slot at Ozzfest, and selling more than 6 million copies worldwide. The group's sophomore effort "Dark Horse" was released in 2002 and produced the rock hit "Drowning". Whether or not Crazy Town was a victim of the changing playing field or of their own success, soon thereafter Mazur and Binzer decided to take a little hiatus and re-energize for what would be Crazy Town's third record. Most recently frontman Seth Brooks Binzer (aka Shifty Shellshock) has garnered widespread attention for his appearances on VH1's Celebrity Rehab and Sober House reality shows. Mazur went back to his roots as a Writer/Producer/remixer working with the likes of The Plain White Ts, Julien K, Hollywood Undead and many more.

Months turned to years, and it wasn’t until Mazur called Binzer to discuss releasing previously unreleased Crazy Town songs that the spark was re-ignited. If you were lucky enough to catch the band live in Europe at festivals like Rock am Ring, Novarock or Download Festival in summer 2014, you know they mean business. “After the response we got at the European festivals this past summer, I approached Seth about releasing a couple of songs we had written. At first it wasn’t at all about doing a whole new record, but the vibe in the studio was great, and a couple of new songs turned into a whole new record”, tells Mazur.

The end result is an album’s worth of material called “The Brimstone Sluggers”. “We named our new album ‘The Brimstone Sluggers’ after one of our early band names. We went back to our genesis which was alternative hip hop / beat driven music. Seth and me in the studio just having fun and doing what we do” says Bret. Stylistically “The Brimstone Sluggers” is more of a follow-up to their first album “The Gift Of Game” and is featuring several guest artists.

The first single, “Born To Raise Hell”, does not only feature guest singer J Angel, who has written for artists like Rhianna, J Lo, Demi Lovato or R Kelly, but also features scratches by DJ AM, who was an original member and DJ of Crazy Town. Being one of most well-renowned DJs in the world, DJ AM and Crazy Town were collaborating on a new record before his tragic passing in 2009.

On the following “Ashes” Tom Dumont (No Doubt) joins in on the guitar and adds some reggae vibes to the song. But Crazy Town also follow up on their hip hop roots with tracks “Ashes” and the help of LA underground rapper Bishop Lamont, or artist Madchild, founding member of hip hop group Swollen Members, who adds his rhymes to “The Keys”.

Still, they know how to do a great sing-along chorus as proven with songs like “A Little More Time” and the sweet voice of singer Koko Laroo, or “Megatron”, which was released earlier this year. “Megatron is about 2nd chances”, tells Mazur, “it’s about grabbing a hold of your life before it passes you by.” The track was influenced by social media, as Mazur was hit up via Instagram by an artist named Boondock. “He was a huge fan and we thought he was really dope as an artist. Seth and I brought him into the studio to help him with his project and ended up doing a song together called Megatron for our record. It was only after getting to know him and spending time with him that he told us about his honorable service to our country as a combat veteran of the Marines. Boondock served for eight years in some pretty scary places like Afghanistan and Iraq".

The laid-back “Baby You Don’t Know” combines the catchy Crazy Town hooks with an irresistible melody, while the album closes with “Westcoast”: A classic Crazy Town track, which has never been released before.

It took Mazur and Binzer a musical and personal journey of more than a decade to follow up on their joint creative work. Crazy Town is back.
