OFFICIAL VINYL RE-ISSUES OF THE FIRST THREE STUDIO ALBUMS SET FOR FEBRUARY 12th 2016 RELEASE VIA SPINEFARM RECORDS...
Check out this video to see the vinyl packaging in its full glory:
From the name of the band, to the title of Album One and its accompanying artwork, it was immediately clear that Five Finger Death Punch hadn't arrived to make up the numbers... they'd come to win.
With 'The Way Of The Fist', the record in question, they delivered a self-funded set of songs so focussed, so committed, so determined to leave a mark (somewhere around the jugular) that a bond was swiftly forged with those for whom heavy music has everything to do with lifestyle and nothing to do with pastime...
Follow-up albums 'War Is The Answer' and 'American Capitalist' saw the US outfit aligning with producer Kevin Churko - the result being an even bigger sound that expertly plotted the path between emotion, melody and all-out attack, with frontman Ivan Moody showing exactly what he could do right across the board. As with 'The Way Of The Fist', both albums were released via Spinefarm Records ex-US, both saw traditional values laced with contemporary sounds and cutting-edge power, and both saw the band gaining real traction in Europe (with the Download festival in the UK consistently succumbing to the Death Punch main-stage assault) and making major inroads at US radio...
Today, backed by a global army of supporters (affectionately known as 'Knuckleheads'), Five Finger Death Punch stand as one the most successful rock acts in the world; proof that if you have your heart set on a dream, the work ethic to beat down doors and the talent to consistently deliver nothing can stand in your way...
'The Way Of The Fist', 'War Is The Answer' and 'American Capitalist' are where the blueprint for success was laid and the gauntlet first cast, and now - almost a decade down the line in the case of the debut - it's time to raise the flag with this special set of official vinyl Re-issues, scheduled for release on February 12th 2016.
Whilst holding true to the spirit of the original CD releases, each of the LPs has been visually reworked to get the most from the vinyl format, with extra elements added where possible.
The LPs come as follows:
'THE WAY OF THE FIST' (originally released, ex-US, in 2009) * Coloured vinyl * Camouflage inner bag * Gatefold sleeve with 'international artwork' * Lyrics
'WAR IS THE ANSWER' (originally released in 2009)
* Coloured vinyl * Camouflage inner bag * Gatefold sleeve * Lyrics
'AMERICAN CAPITALIST' (originally released in 2011)
* Coloured vinyl * Camouflage inner bag * Gatefold sleeve * Lyrics * Bonus Remix

As the winter solstice arrives, guitar legend Eric Peterson (Testament/Dragonlord) and Canadian Celtic songstress Leah are revealing a brand new symphonic metal track "Winter Sun". Featuring soaring soundscapes, blazing guitar solos and ethereal, operatic vocals, the track sounds like it could have taken weeks to complete. In reality, "Winter Sun" was written and recorded in three days by incorporating app technology.
"Winter Sun" was recorded by five musicians between three different countries, so in order to quickly communicate internationally for free and have the track released by the holidays, the group incorporated the cross-platform communications app WhatsApp to pen the track.
Listen to the track via the official lyric video, posted now on Loudwire: loudwire.com.
As veteran yet tech-savvy musicians, Peterson and Leahfeel that this new technology is completely revolutionizing the way they can pen tracks efficiently during their hectic schedules.
"Leah and I orchestrated the vocals, drums, guitars and bass by leaving each other voice messages that you can record and can leave/make decent recordings of clips of music through WhatsApp," states Peterson. "Also, the sound quality is sharp enough that you can actually hear the dynamics well. It's truly amazing! It's a free app, so between Canada and Germany and Slovenia, that's some savings for sure! Pretty awesome!"
Leah adds, "I'm so excited about how technology has changed the music industry. Suddenly people are able to collaborate from all around the world and produce incredibly high-quality material. The possibilities are endless. Even something as simple as an app on a smart phone has completely revolutionized the way we write music. As a busy artist and mother of five kids, it was vital for me to be able to quickly record my vocal and lyric ideas and literally sing them into WhatsApp and fire it off to Eric in seconds. It made this song entirely possible."
"Winter Sun" is performed by Eric Peterson (guitars and percussion) and Leah (vocalist, piano, harp and keys), featuring guest musicians Alex Bent (drums), Tilen Hudrap (bass), and Lyle Livingston (additional keys). Bent and Hudrap performed with Testament this year at Heavy MTL, and all three gentlemen perform on the upcoming Dragonlord album Dominion (Livingston is a full time member of the band).
"Winter Sun" is a delicate blend of Peterson's melodic side of his thrash metal background and Leah's Celtic metal fusion. This song is all about balance, with Peterson's signature guitar-playing style right up front and center, yet complimentary to Leah's feminine vocals. The song later takes a surprise change of pace in which the listener will experience less of a holiday-type vibe, and more of the original styles of each artist: haunting operatic choirs and full heavy metal; no compromises.
In 2013, Eric Peterson and Leah first displayed their prowess as a songwriting duo with the track "Dreamland". You can download the track here via Amazon.

Album available nationwide on 1/15/16
"Measure twice and cut once" is a saying that is as age old as the craftsmanship of Grundy Family Casket Factory. A name and business founded in the early 1200s and passed down from generation to generation keeping it's roots deep within it's dark ancestral family tree. The bloodline and the Casket Factory had all but faded away by the mid 1900s until inherited by Blaze. Albeit a Casket Maker by trade, Blaze had chosen a different path in life and death and seemed more consumed with filling caskets rather than building them. But when offered the opportunity to obtain his heritage and inherit the family business things changed for Blaze, and changed quick! Adorned with a top hat and gold skull maple cane, his blueprint for turning the enormous basement of the rundown and timely Casket Factory into a makeshift cemetery was just the first of many insane ideas. He even decided to put the caskets back into production and only offer a one size fits all Casket and guaranteed it to fit any and everyone! Needless to say these so called rumors and speculations as well as the remote secret location of the newly opened Casket Factory is but a mystery spoken through whispers on the lips of those who have claimed to see it for themselves, and their stories that have carried on through time until now.
We here at Majik Ninja Entertainment are proud to present you.... Blaze Ya Dead Homie's forthcoming masterpiece entitled "The Casket Factory" based on the story of his inheritance that drove him from killer to death incarnate! We warn you that these recordings may be unsettling and inappropriate for some listeners. That said we recommend that you use extreme caution listening, purchasing, or selling this product.

ROYAL REPUBLIC - SWEDISH ROCKERS ISSUE ENTERTAINMENT WARNING WITH THIRD STUDIO ALBUM, ‘WEEKEND MAN’,
SET FOR RELEASE VIA SPINEFARM RECORDS ON FEBRUARY 26th 2016.
Royal Republic are not ones to stand in the corner at a party... ‘Weekend Man’ is their third studio album and their first for Spinefarm Records, and it’s instantly clear that these Swedish rockers – who first joined forces in Malmo Rock City in 2007 – would not only be jumpin’ around behind the decks, but also spiking the punch and leading the way on the dance floor and in the mosh pit!
Of course, at the beating heart of the band are four supremely talented musicians, with all members hailing from Malmo’s prestigious Academy Of Music; as a group, they show zero respect for musical boundaries, preferring to focus on Big Hooks and Mountain-Sized Melodies; the aim is to put smiles on faces and springs in steps, but when you marry that noble ambition to quality song-writing and skilful playing, the results are all the more potent… “My whole education at university was about holding back,” explains drummer Per Andreasson, who has a masters degree in classical percussion. “It was always: ‘keep it down, cherish your sound’, but I just wanted to hit things harder and louder. When Royal Republic came along, it was a great release!” ‘Weekend Man’ is the latest result of this desire to vent – a desire shared by Per’s fellow Republicans, frontman Adam Grahn, guitarist Hannes Irengård & bassist Jonas Almén.
Crafted in Berlin’s Fuzz Factory Studios by the German production duo of Christian Neander & Michael Tibes, the album follows on from 2010’s ‘We Are The Royal’ and 2012’s ‘Save The Nation’, but this time around the rock thrills arrive with even greater gusto – a bold statement of wild-eyed intent underpinned by the band’s signature sense of fun, as stylishly spot-lighted in the video for ‘When I See You Dance With Another’.
Music history shows that third albums are very often the ones that define a group’s career, and certainly the Swedes had no intention of holding back when it came to either hitting things (Per) or stretching their musical wings (all of them)…
“We enjoyed making something that was a dynamic journey”, reflects Adam, “So you have these new adventures, these great little wild-cards along the way, stuff like ‘Any Given Sunday’, ‘Follow The Sun’ and ‘American Dream’.
“Some songs just seem to fall into your hands out of nowhere, and ‘Follow The Sun’ was one of those. I guess the words are open to interpretation, but to me the message is crystal clear; it’s easy to have unrealistic expectations for your life, so every now and then you just have to stop and appreciate what you’ve already got…
“Today we’re a family, and I don’t think any of us would change things for the world. We’ve made a really strong Royal Republic record that’s totally true to ourselves, and we can’t wait to take it on the road.”
‘Weekend Man’ is set for release through Spinefarm on February 26th 2016 supported by on-the-road activity. Consider this an extreme entertainment warning.

LUPE FUENTES: “YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE AND RISE ABOVE IN ANY MOMENT"
Rising British agro mob Seep Away are to stream their brilliant new self-titled EP via Already Heard! The stunning four track EP can be heard here – alreadyheard.com. The record is set for release on December 11th, and can be picked up via SA’s Bandcamp page - seepaway.bandcamp.com.
The news comes off the back of the York/Manchester-based noise-punks debut single “Trudge”, which was released earlier this month. Sporting a fabulously unpolished sound, rife with angular vocals and coarse guitars; the band's raw, punkish aura sits somewhere between prime Melvins and the more aggressive moments of Shining (NO) & Bongripper.
Guitarist Max Watt comments: "These songs come from the darkest places in our minds. They are our way of expressing our heaviest thoughts through really, really f***ing noisy tunes. Hopefully some people dig it, but we understand if they don't because well… it's all pretty damn abrasive, really." SEEP AWAY is: Jay Sillence (lead vocals), Max Watt (guitar, vocals), Dani Barge (bass) and Dom Smith (drums)
The band are set to release a full length album in early 2016.
British metallers Demons Of Old Metal recently streamed their latest single “The Quiet Ones” via Puregrainaudio! Taken from their upcoming new album “Dominion”, which is due for release on December 7th, fans of the band can check out their latest offering ahead of time! Check out “The Quiet Ones” here: puregrainaudio.com.
Sat somewhere between classic Exodus, Pantera & GWAR; theatrically tinged British metallers Demons Of Old Metal have been making an unholy din across the UK for a while now. And if latest record “Dominion” is anything to go by, they’re just getting started!
Formed at the tail end of 2010 by four veterans of the UK metal circuit with the sole intention of cranking out classically tinged metal and engulfing venues in a sea of blood, sweat and beers. Coupling a cracking knack for writing quality songs, their penchant for schlock horror imagery and an otherworldly stage show, DOOM set about putting together their debut record; “The Demonic Chronicles Vol I”. Released on Halloween 2012, the response from fans and the media alike was overwhelmingly positive and saw the band begin making a name for themselves. In 2013 the band released “The Demonic Chronicles Vol. II”; a further addition to their stunning repertoire. This was followed in 2014 by the final part of "The Demonic Chronicles Trilogy" which was greeted with critical acclaim in Europe and the U.S. They proceeded to hit the road and carve their mark viciously into the psyche of the British live scene; scoring slots at Beermageddon in the UK, as well as shows in Ireland.
Simultaneously, they began work on their new record “Dominion”. Set for release on December 7th 2015, “Dominion” stands as a huge leap forward, as the band have pushed their musical boundaries and created a work that will no doubt appeal to fans of both the new and old schools. Tracks like ‘You Version 2.0’, ‘Fakeskin’ and ‘Behind The Mask’ are groove laden gems on a record full of brilliance. Tall and short of it; you need Demons Of Old Metal in your life.
