The American Weather Premiere New Single "Pray", Debut LP Out In May on Huntridge Records

Las Vegas indie rock 'n' roll three-piece The American Weather, recently signed to upstart Las Vegas record label Huntridge Records, is debuting a new song off their upcoming self-titled debut LP.

Many words come to mind when trying to describe The American Weather, but few convey a more accurate representation than one in particular: Hungry With the members of this indie rock n' roll three-piece all having been born and raised in the old working class neighborhoods of Las Vegas, their unique sound is simultaneously reminiscent and current, much like the city in which they have spent years cutting their teeth together.

"It's always been Aaron, Kelso, and I. For as long as we've played music, the three of us have played together," says front-man and guitarist Anthony Krantz.

Having started their first musical endeavor before any of them had even started high-school, It's fair to say these boys have had a lot of time to develop the musical dynamic that only years of playing together really can. Between various dirty garages and dusty living rooms this group's organic garage-band upbringing shines in defiance of modern pop-culture's artificial and synthetic norm.

Simple, groovy, catchy, loud, but most importantly, real. The American Weather is the songwriting of Anthony Krantz, showcased by a powerhouse of a rhythm section featuring bassist Jaz Kelso and Aaron Golubic on drums.

ORIGIN are among the leaders of metal's recent wave of extremity. Formed in Kansas (North America) in 1997, the group is considered to be one of the top, most intense and most brutal technical death metal forces to be reckoned with. Their latest offering "Omnipresent" is no exception. "A culmination of 15 years of technical death metal brutality that transcends definition" - states the band. And continues: "From light speed to absolute zero, it is a journey to the farthest reaches of the universe, to the darkest nether of the mind".

Touring in support of "Omnipresnt" is a technical metal feast, which has been proven during the band's most recent co-headlining shows across North America, with extreme metal heroes Krisiun. The upcoming Euro tour will be ORIGIN's second over the course of two years. In 2014 the band took over the continent with Aborted, Miasmal and Exhumed. Up till now, ORIGIN's impressive touring resume includes both Americas, Asia, Australia and Europe.

RAGE to release new album 'The Devil Strikes Again' on June 10th

Iconic German metal trio RAGE have just completed a hugely successful tour of Europe as special guests to their label mates Helloween. A few days before the tour started, ‘My Way’, the band's brand new EP was released via Nuclear Blast. Now the long wait is over - RAGE are very happy to announce that their brand-new studio album titled ‘The Devil Strikes Again’ will be released on June 10th.

RAGE Bassist/Vocalist Peavy Wagner commented:

"Here comes RAGE's hardest record in years! The title says it all and we have captured the band's unique spirit of our classic works. The cover reflects the music - hard and straight!"

The album was recorded in September/October 2015 at Megafon Studios (Burscheid, Germany) and at Soundchaser Studios (Zandhoven, Belgium). The production was handled by Marcos Rodriguez and Peavy Wagner, whilst Dan Swanö (Marduk, Opeth, Dissection, Katatonia) took care of the mixing and mastering at Unisound Studios (Grefrath, Germany). The stunning cover artwork was created by Karim König.

It will be available as a 3CD Digi (limited to 1,000 copies), 2CD Digi, and 2LP (black, white). All editions contain six bonus tracks (incl. three cover versions of Rush, Skid Row, and Y&T). The 3CD Digi also features a bonus live CD from their latest European tour with Helloween and C.O.P. UK.

Musically 'Evil Twin' is a full-on thrash-metal tune that blasts off with a raging guitar riff, accelerates expeditiously and is completely uncontrollable.

"Yeah, that opening riff is really evil", states the band's Charlie Benante. "We had done a lot of touring with DEATH ANGEL and EXODUS, so I was in a really thrashy state of mind when I starting writing the riffs for that song. I think along with Scott's lyrics and Frank's melodies, we came up with a really great, old school thrash metal feel."

...And as bassist Frank Bello puts it, "it's a song that begs to be played live".

Lyrically the track unapologetically denounces the self-righteous religious extremists who spread their bloody terror under the guise of a holy war.

"I was very affected by the Charlie Hebdo massacre as I have been with all of the shootings that have taken place at schools and movie theatres", said ANTHRAX's lyricist Scott Ian. "I can't figure out what would cause someone to think that was the right thing to do. 'I'll show the world, I'll make my God happy.' It's just such bullshit. I'm not bagging on religion, that's not my intent, but people who go to that extreme, who feel they have become judge, jury and executioner over their fellow man because you or I don't believe the same thing they do, I think that's the 'Evil Twin' of humanity. Writing words about that is my only catharsis."

Beginning in the autumn of 2014, ANTHRAX took their time in the studio recording the follow up to their Grammy-nominated, critically-acclaimed 2011 album, Worship Music. The band recorded around 20 original songs, almost twice as many as they had ever brought into the studio in the past. In terms of how the new music sounds, Bello states, "The thing about ANTHRAX...we have this heavy, thrashy music and Joey's powerful and melodic vocals. I love heavy music but I also love melody, so the challenge is to blend them together so they sound like ANTHRAX. I think we've done a really good job of that on the new album."
