FEAR FACTORY To Kick Off US Demanufacture Tour
In less than two weeks, the pioneers of industrial-tinged extreme metal, FEAR FACTORY, will kick off their US headlining tour which will see the band perform its classic second album Demanufacture in its entirety. The trek will commence on March 21st and run through May 7th with support provided by Swedish metal unit, Soilwork.
"To me, this album sounds not one day older today than it did in 1995," stated guitarist Dino Cazares, "It's a metal classic for the ages and I'm excited that we are finally going to be able to perform it live in its entirety and songs from Genexus. Play fearlessly."
Adds vocalist Burton C. Bell, "I am looking forward to the upcoming tour where FEAR FACTORY will be performing Demanufacture in full for the first time since we released it in 1995. We have some good friends joining us for everyone's enjoyment. Please come and support the bands that tour hard, and play harder!"

FEAR FACTORY's latest offering, Genexus, was released worldwide via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The album charted in several countries around the globe, coming in at #13 on the World Top 40 Chart, and once again solidifying the band's stature as an international force! In addition, Genexus has surpassed the band's last two releases, Mechanize (2010) and The Industrialist (2012), in terms of first-week sales and chart numbers in the United States.
Genexus world chart positions include:
Australia #15 Austria #25 Belgium #35 Canada #36 Czech Republic #42 Finland #25 France #55 Germany #17 Ireland #7 (Top 20 Indie) Netherlands #34 Sweden #12 (Rock/Metal) Switzerland #18 UK #31 USA #37 World #13
Genexus was produced by vocalist Burton C. Bell and guitarist Dino Cazares, and co-produced by long-time collaborator Rhys Fulber. The album was mixed by famed British producer and engineer, Andy Sneap (Arch Enemy, Testament, Exodus et al). Artwork was once again handled by artist Anthony Clarkson. Drums on Genexus were performed by Mike Heller (Malignancy). Formed in Los Angeles, California in 1990, FEAR FACTORY changed the world of metal and have become an immense influence on the genre ever since their inception. The band's unique sound helped bridge the gap between death metal, grindcore, thrash, and industrial on landmark releases like Soul Of A New Machine, Demanufacture, and the gold-selling release, Obsolete.
