Jordan JAE To Perform at 2015 Young Artist Awards



New York, NY - Fifteen-year-old singer-songwriter, Jordan JAE, has made quite a name for herself over the last year with the release of her powerful original singles, "Hopping Fences" and "Makin' Me Crazy." The New York City-based teen will be taking her talents to the 36th Annual Young Artist Awards next month. Jordan will perform her debut hit record "Said No One Ever" (co-written and produced by Grammy nominated duo Kinetics & One Love) in LA on March 15th alongside After Romeo and other exciting acts. Melanie Mitchell (Miss California Teen 2015), Maureen Dragone of KTTV Fox 11 News, and Manny Streetz of OnAir with Ryan Seacrest are only three of the many presenters at this year's award ceremony. Previous winners of Young Artist Awards include Chandler Riggs of The Walking Dead, Kiernen Shipka of Mad Men, and the cast of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days among many other talented young entertainers. In addition, Rider Strong of Boy Meets World fame will be receiving the Mickey Rooney Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's event.

Between the Young Artist Awards and upcoming exciting news, things are really taking off for Jordan JAE in 2015. The young singer's latest single, "Hopping Fences," has been featured on MTV's Fresh Faces block (9AM EST)! Be sure to catch it again on Tuesday March 2nd.



ABOUT JORDAN JAE: Hailing from the iconic and cultured streets of New York City, fifteen-year-old pop singer/songwriter Jordan JAE is about to burst the music industry wide open with her relentlessly catchy tunes. This musical wunderkind has been singing since she can remember, taking vocal lessons at the tender age of 7 and writing her first song when she was just 9 years old. Around her 13th birthday JAE was invited to record at SlumboLabs recording studio in Brooklyn by owner Jake Ottmann. There she continued to develop as a singer, songwriter, pianist, and guitarist, working alongside some amazing artists and producers. Jordan JAE has quickly grown a strong online following with her YouTube cover videos, releasing beautiful renditions of Imagine Dragons "It's Time," Ed Sheeran's "All of the Stars," and more. Jordan JAE teamed up with Grammy nominated songwriters and producers Kinetics & One Love (Eminem, B.o.B, Sean Kingston, Melanie Martinez) for her anthemic debut single, "Said No One Ever" [January 2014]. Jordan JAE continued her success releasing more cover videos and her original songs "Makin' Me Crazy" [August 2014] and "Hopping Fences" [January 2015]. She is currently endorsed by Daisy Rock Guitars and was one of the faces of Smooth Sailing Co.'s 2014 summer line, founded by Steven Kopacz of Go Radio. Jordan JAE is currently working on her debut EP with new music coming soon!

ABOUT THE YOUNG ARTIST AWARDS: In 1978 Maureen Dragone journalist and member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and daughter of Nora Laing who was one of the founders of HFPA founded the Non-Profit Organization Youth in Film Awards to acknowledge youth in film under the age of 21. In 2000, the association became known as The Young Artist Awards to additionally honor those in television, live theatre, voice-over and & to provide scholarships for young artists who may be physically or financially challenged. Past Award Recipients include: Leo Di Caprio, Drew Barrymore, Melissa Joan Hart, Mario Lopez, Fergie, Christina Applegate, Soleil Moon Frye and Tobey Maguire, Hillary Duff,Bella Thorne to name a few.
